Chapter 7: The Final

Silver and Blaze went alone, and had to see the horror of his friend and what he became.

Blaze: how...why would he...

Let's go back a few hours, clear the confusion.

The group ran out the church to follow Metal Sonic to where Mephiles was located, and could possibly be the place where he would finally be defeated.

Metal: I'm only helping you because I respect Christien and he didn't deserve this.

Metal flys away leaving the group to split up and try to find the darkness that killed there friend.

Silver and Blaze went to a old building that looked like an asylum, but was shut down.

Blaze: are you sure he's...

???: *loud bloodthirsty scream*

Silver: either way, we're going in.

Blaze: wait.

Blaze grabs Silvers left shoulder to stop him, turn him around, and kissed his soft lips.

They stayed this way for awhile till Silver breaks it.

Silver: what was that for?

Blaze: in case we don't make it out, I will always love you.

Silver: Blaze, I... I love you too.

The two hear the scream again and run inside. They searched the first room, then went up seeing walls with drywall fallen off and the floors with puddles of water.

Silver: we didn't check the basement.

The two hear a maniacal laugh instead of a scream and are almost frightened off there feet.

Blaze: wait, was that Christien's laugh?

The two run down the flights of stairs till they see a door that says "basement, caution may be power surges".

Blaze kicks down the door and runs down the flights of stairs, and sees Mephiles with his back turned.

She throws a flame ball at him, but he catches it without even turning around.

Mephiles: I thank you for coming to see my latest achievement.

Blaze: what are you talking about.

Mephiles walks to the side, to show Christien with his eyes closed but with new darker fur.

Blaze: is that Christien?

Mephiles doesn't answer, but laughed as Christien opened his eyes to show he had then changed to completely red.

Mephiles: dark Christien, destroy her.

Christien nods his head and and throws a dark spear at her, but silver came out and threw it to the side.

Silver: Christien! What did you do Mephiles?!

Mephiles: I released his dark form, and now he will kill you both. But at least you two will finally be together for eternity.

Dark Christien: I'm sorry, but orders are orders. Shall I destroy them now Mephiles?

Mephiles: call me master!!

Dark Christien: ya like that's gonna happen.

Mephiles: really we're gonna have this argument again.

The two started to give each other a huge argument while Blaze and Silver stood there in confusion.

Blaze: umm Silver what's going on here?

Silver doesn't answer, he was to busy laughing his ass off.

Blaze: seriously?!

Mephiles: Christien I'm ordering you to kill them now!

Dark Christien: ok, but first.

Dark Christien throws a dark spear right at Mephiles right at his head killing him.

Dark Christien: right between the eyes.

Blaze: wait, what!!

Christien returned back to his original form and chuckled.

Christien: I'm sorry I worried you guys, but this was the plan from the beginning.

Blaze: what the hell are you talking about?

Christien: allow me to explain. When the building collapsed Mephiles took me at the last second to this place. He hoped to unlock my dark side, but what he didn't know is that I could control it.

Silver: wait so you have a dark side, but you can control it?

Christien: precisely, and I used this as my way to kill... wait where did he go?

The three look to see that Mephiles's body was nowhere to be found.

Christien: I swear one day I'm gonna wake up and...

Blaze: well Silver it looks like we're still hunting him down, are you alright with that?

Silver grabbed Blaze by the hips, and kissed Blaze in a way he had never done it before.

Silver: as long as I'm here with you, I will always go after that no mouthed son of a bitch.

Blaze smiles at this and falls backwards while Silver landed on top of her, both of them laughing at this.

Blaze: I love you Silver.

Silver: I love you to.

The two kiss for one more time before leaving, and beginning there journey to defeat Mephiles once and for all.

Christien: you know, I've been thinking Silver.

Silver: about what?

Christien: about how you and Blaze had this close of a relationship and it only began after the solaris incident.

Silver: what are you saying?

Christien: well don't you find it odd that Blaze came back somehow right after you shadow, and sonic defeated him.

Silver: nope, never bothered me.

Christien: and this is why we never let you lead any missions, you don't think through hard enough.

Silver looked at Blaze who didn't hear the conversation and he though to himself "I guess it is pretty weird".
