Chapter 20

Marie's Pov.

After a few minutes Luke started kissing me back. Once we pulled away he looked in my eyes and smiled.

"So does that mean all is forgiven?" He asked hopefully.

"Yes." I said giggling.

"I have a question I have been dying to ask you." He said looking in my eyes. "Will you be my one and only princess?" He asked.

"Yes." I said with a huge smile on my face. I know we are jumping in this really fast but it just feels right.

He smiles and leans in to kiss me again.

The next day at school everything changed.

I was sitting outside with Luke at lunch when someone I would never expect to talk to me again came over to me. It's Izabell.

"Hey Marie. I know we haven't been close since I started dating Michael. And I'm really sorry about that. I know you can't forgive me just like that. But you won't have a problem with me bullying you anymore. Michael broke up with me." She said the last part tearing up. "I just wanted to tell you that you guys are a really cute couple." She says tears still streaming down checks.

I stand up and give her a big hug. I could never stay mad at Izabell.

"I'm sorry Izabell do you wanna talk about it?" I asked as we released from the hug. She nods and we took a seat by Luke.

"We were fighting quite often lately. Someone told him that I had cheated on him and had sex with some guy. And I didn't. But he doesn't believe me." She said. I gave her a big hug.

"I'm sure you guys can work things out." I say. She looks at me hopelessly.

"I doubt it. He said he never wants to see or talk to me again." She told me.

"Hey how about we all go out tonight and have fun." I suggested. Luke agreed but Izabell took some convincing. She eventually agreed.

"What are you gonna tell Connor? If he knew where we are going he would never let you go. Especially if he knew you and Luke are together." Izabell pointed out.

"I'll just tell him we are having a girls night out and that I'm spending the weekend at your house. He doesn't need to know about Luke and I. It's better if he doesn't know. But eventually I will have to tell him." I told her.

"Ok. Where and when should we meet?" Izabell asked.

"We can all meet at my house and you guys can also spend the night if you want. My parents don't care." Luke said.

"Ok sounds like a plan." I said excited.

"I'll text you guys my address later." Luke says.

"Ok." Izabell and I say at the same time.
