Bullied by 5 Seconds of Summer

Chapter 15

Connor's Pov.

I heard my phone ring. I assumed it was Marie wanting to talk to me. I have help her through a lot of things lately. I picked up my phone and was surprised to see who it was. It was mom. Why is she calling me?

"Hello?" I questioned confused. She never calls me.

"Hey. I just figured you would want to know that Marie is in the hospital. She's been in a pretty bad car accident. She was knocked out as soon as it happened. And as of right now she's in a comma. They said she has been in a comma for 2 hours. It was an hour before someone found her and called the ambulance."

"Is she gonna be ok?" I asked worried. "Where was she?"

"The doctors say she's ok for the most part. She has messed up her leg pretty bad and is gonna need multiple surgeries on it and has some bruises and scratches. But nothing other than that. No internal bleeding. The only thing they don't know is when or even if she's gonna come out of a comma. They found her an hour and a half away."

"Wow. I'm leaving college early anyway. I was supposed to stay another week but my big tests are over I'm just gonna leave now." And with that I hung up and started loading everything in my car.

2 hours later I'm at the house I put everything in my old room and drove to the hospital. I'm praying and hopping she's awake so I can talk to her. Why was she so far away? Was she coming to see me or what? But all I know right now is that she's  gonna need me since neither mom or Steve cares. I'm gonna try and get them to sign papers that give me custody but after she wakes up we need to talk first.

Luke's Pov.

I heard what happened to Marie yesterday. News travels fast in this school. And I feel terrible. It's all my fault and I know it is, no matter what anybody else says.

I was the last person to see her before the crash. I was the reason she was randomly driving to nowhere. I was the reason for the tears that caused her to not see the car in front of her. I brought back so many bad memories and she couldn't take it anymore. I'm the reason why she's in a comma and I know it.

School went very slow today. And I mean very slow. I don't know why. Maybe because Marie wasn't here and I knew why. I could've stopped her from leaving and make sure she was ok. But I didn't I just let her leave.

Marie's Pov.

As I opened my eyes I heard this loud and annoying beeping. I looked around but saw nobody. I closed my eyes again and Luke was here. Great. Just the person I wanted to see. Only.... not really.

I look around the room everything is white and then I realize where I'm at. I'm at the hospital. The next thing I know is Luke's lips to mine. I didn't push him away. I kissed him back.

And then everything went black again.
