(Episode 11)

On the way to school, Katie decided to accompany me, except that she doesn't want to start off a conversation. It was pretty silent minus the crunching sound of grass being crushed beneath our feet, and the wind howling in the air on a flow.

It wasn't awkward or uncomfortable, just the right mind of balance was put between me and the girl. There wasn't anything I want to say too Katie so I let myself stay mute throughout the journey.

My mind was already occupied in previous events and people that I met so far, before I was then brought back to reality.

"Hey (Y/n)." I turn to face the source of its voice to see Katie staring back at me with what looks to be of mild interest but nevertheless her face stays blank as a cardboard.

"What are you thinking so hard about?" The girl ask, not from concern but from curiosity seeing as the (h/c) haired girl had been making a face for the past few minutes.

"It's nothing important. I'm just thinking." I told, looking back at the black haired girl who in return let out an 'oh' before saying "Are you thinking about that glasses girl?"

'Glasses girl?' I thought in confusion before realization dawn upon me that my companion was talking about Elisabeth Marin, that reddish haired girl.

She was quite interesting although strange at the fact how quick and easy she is to change sides and drop of emotion. 

There was also another person that always follows her around. A humanoid bear that is name Maxie Frin. She's quite honest and isn't afraid to shove her opinion on our faces to show her opinion which nobody ask for in the first place.

But that aside, I was wondering why Katie brought up Elisabeth and not Maxie. Although, I feel as though that she might just felt disgusted uttering her name or any specific kind of attribute associated of said girl.

"There's nothing really interesting about her other than the fact that she's a great actor." Katie voice out her thoughts of certain person. My mind went back to her before realizing the words my companion had utter.

"Huh?" That was what had left my mouth after hearing her, and it only confuses me as to why she suddenly started praising her of Elisabeth's skills.

"What do you mean...?" I couldn't get a response back as my words had fallen to deaf ears.

"I could see the building from here." Katie skillfully dodge my question after mentioning about seeing the school building.

She wasn't wrong when I too took notice of said building right ahead with the trees blocking the whole view from where we were standing. Students where rushing in and some were casually walking inside whilst the both of us stood outside to watch the other people going in.

I uttered out a word of 'oh' after spotting said building. Standing dumbfoundedly at how quick the journey had ended whilst yesterday it took me long to finally made it to my destination.

"What are you standing stupidly for? Come on." The voice of Katie dragged me out of my thoughts and saw her walking away from me to which I hurriedly follow behind.

The students from the halls after we both entered greeted me a good morning and a hello. Since I'm nice and all, (I'm not being narcissist) I greeted them back but in a soft and low tone. 

Katie didn't bother looking at her surrounding as she continued to look forward and ignore everyone. The people, for some reason, became stunned when they took notice of Katie before they look back at me and then at her. Over and over again with a look of disbelief.
