Kim Ara POV

I wiped the sweat on my forehead after mopping the whole restaurant. It was almost time to close the restaurant and go back home. Today was tiring and stressful.

After coming from the little barbecue we had, I thought about Jimin, who left today with teary eyes. I knew he was feeling guilty about what he did to Sohee. He said those words, not to Taehyung but himself. The stares both of them gave were undefinable, but those stares were not just usual. There were meanings behind those stares, and I wondered what they meant.

Jimin and Sohee. You guys are giving me a headache now.

I massaged my forehead and put the bucket and the mop back in the store. I looked down at my wristwatch, which showed that it was already 8:50 pm. I sighed and changed the working dress I was wearing to my school uniform. I took my belongings and headed to the counter where Manager Ji was checking the incomes we earned today with the help of my co-worker Kim Eunmi. She was older than me so I called her sister.

"Unnie, I am leaving now. Bye."

"Oh! Yeah! Be safe and don't be clumsy!" She said, looking up from the screen.

"Yeah."

We laughed, and I bowed to them with a smile. I looked down at my phone to see a bunch of notifications. I quickly unlocked the phone and opened the notifications.

But, at that very moment, I shot to look back to the doorway when the familiar click sound echoed in the restaurant. And there stood an older man who was familiar in my eyes. I bowed to him with a surprised face while he walked towards me with a genuine smile.

"Good evening, Mr. Park."

I smiled, and he gave me a nod. Manager Ji and Eunmi ran to my sides, bowing to our restaurant's owner.

He always comes here, but not so often, and he always informs us before coming here, which made me wonder why he didn't inform us this time. And more importantly, he always comes here in the morning, not at closing hours.

"Sir, any problem? You mostly come here in the mornings." Manager Ji asked, a little hesitant in his voice. It wasn't that Mr. Park was a cruel or rude boss as he always seemed to be kind to his employees.

Manager Ji was still in shock after seeing him, and I could see his hands trembling. Mr. Park let out a chuckle, seeing him nervous, and patted his shoulder.

"Why would there be a problem when there is a good manager like you?"

Manager Ji looked at Mr. Park with the same shocked face, smiling widely.
