Chapter 5

Wang Yibo woke up feeling squeezed and felt like falling from the bed. He opens his eyes and the scent of vanilla whiffed his nostrils. The agent tried to move but he just realized that a person is currently clinging onto him. It's the gambler. Since he was very frightened last night with the darkness.

He doesn't know if he should move or quickly escape from the other man's grasp. Wang Yibo tries to get out but as he moved, the gambler let out a small groan. "Stop moving," he grumbles.

Wang Yibo frowned, he needs to get ready and prepare the things for the small ceremony. So they can easily get started with the mission. He slowly slips away and moves Xiao Zhan slowly. "10 more minutes," the man whispered and hugs Wang Yibo tighter.

With a sigh, "Xiao Zhan," as soon as he said his name, Xiao Zhan's eyes snapped open and  quickly pulled apart, with the sudden reflex, he fell on the bed with a loud thud. "Aish, my butt hurts," he complained as he tried to sooth his bottom by rubbing it.

"Get yourself ready," Wang Yibo says calmly and got off the bed. Xiao Zhan coughs awkwardly and said, "Ahaha, sorry about earlier."

The agent just looked at him impassively and then proceeded to walk out of the room. "Shit, I kept hugging him the whole night. Did I drool on him?" Xiao Zhan mentally panicked and immediately dashed to the bathroom to prepare for the day.

Wang Yibo runs a hand through his hair and sighs, did he make the right choice to be his partner? He finished preparing himself wit slick back hair and wore a clean black tuxedo. The agent arranged his bow tie and stepped out of the room. A maid greets him, "Sir, his clothes are ready," she says as she shows him the new set of tux for the gambler. It's a pure white tuxedo. It seems like this one would match Xiao Zhan since he has a bright aura surrounding him and he often smiles. "Just leave it inside his room, I'm making a call to the person who's incharge of the venue," without wasting a second, he went downstairs with a phone near his ear.

Xiao Zhan stepped out the bathroom with a bathrobe and hears a knock from the door. "Come in," he thought it was the agent but it's maid. She looked beautiful despite wearing a maid's uniform. Does it count cheating if you flirt for a little bit? Besides, they're not officially married since the ceremony didn't happen yet, right?

Xiao Zhan internally chuckled and said, "Hello there, pretty miss." Upon hearing such words, the maid blushed and stuttered, "Mr. Z-Zhan, here are your clothes," she said and slowly opens the door and gave him the white tuxedo. "Ah? Seriously, a tux?" He whispered to himself.

As he receives the tux, the maid was about to leave when Xiao Zhan had another thing in mind, he stops the maid by her hand and twirls her around. She yelp in surprised and the blush rose from her face. "Wanna have some fun with me?"

"Mr. Z-Zhan, I don't wanna los-"

The door suddenly swings open and to their surprise it's Wang Yibo. Upon seeing the sight, his eyes widen in shock, after a few seconds, he went back with his stoic face and gave a short cough. "Sorry for not knocking," and the maid immediately pushes Xiao Zhan and rushed out of the room to beg for his boss in preventing to fire her.

Xiao Zhan laughed, "He's so fun to tease." And with that, the gambler wore the white tuxedo.

Wang Yibo is currently waiting outside as he impassively listens to the maid. "I'm so sorry Mr. Wang, please don't fire me. I don't want to lose this job!" She cried as she kneels down, begging for mercy. Wang Yibo isn't one bit affected by Xiao Zhan's flirting with others, they don't love each other and nothing is going on between them. If he finds someone he loves, them they'll immdiately have a divorce after everything is settled.
