So, it's been a week since I've been with my new parents and siblings. I somehow have step-siblings. My adoptive mom, Annie, told me that those we're dad's kids by another mother. I think that their names are DJ (Diego Jr.) and Destiney. Anyways, today is the day that I'm starting school.
I'm really nervous. I haven't been to a school since I first got in the system. I don't even wanna talk about why I got in it. Anyways, right now, mom is getting me ready. I started calling them mom, because I mean, they are truly the best adoptive parents ever.
"Which one do you like the most, this one, or this one?", mom asked. "Umm, that one", I pointed out. "Ok, put this one on, I can go out if you want", she said softly. "No, it's fine", I said. She nodded and sat on the toilet seat. I put on my outfit, which she bough, along with a million more. My walk-in closet is filled with millions of new clothes, shoes, pretty accessories, and more.
I don't take it for granted, and I'm very lucky to have them as my parents😊😊😊❤️😩😩.

"Aw, it looks beautiful on you", she complimented while standing up. I smiled. "Thank you", I said. "Ok, let's get your hair done. How do you want it?", she asked. I thought for a minute. "Two French braids", I spoke.
"Ok, sit right here", she pointed. I sat on the toilet seat. She parted my hair and began braiding my two French braids. Once she was done, I looked in the mirror. I saw that she left out two strands in the front and a little hair out at the ends of the braids. I honestly looked really pretty.
I smiled and hugged her. "Thanks mom!!! It's really pretty!!!", I exclaimed. She giggled and hugged me back. "Ok, you can add the earrings and accessories, I'm gonna go make breakfast", she said. "Ok", I said.
She walked out, closing the door behind her. I put on my clear-pink cube earrings. Then, I added a little lip gloss. I grabbed my backpack and walked out the bathroom.
