Right now, I'm at recess at school. Being a 8th grader is kinda hard. Girls constantly surrounding me, definitely isn't working. Not to mention, I have two little sisters, which who are both annoying. In case you forgot, Madisyn is our new adopted sister. I kinda feel bad, because she didn't know what jewelry was.

I mean, she was a foster kid, so who am I to judge her. Anyways, I'm sitting down on the bench, when this really pretty girl came up to me. She sat next to me and looked at me. "Hi, I'm Paris", she said. "I'm Jayden, nice to meet you", I said, holding my hand out. She smiled and shook my hand.

"So, how's 8th grade, to me, it's going a little bad", she said. I chuckled back a little laugh. "Same", I agreed. "Your curls are really cute", she complimented while smiling and running her fingers through my curls, which was the best feeling ever.

"Thanks", I thanked her, blushing. She reminds me of my mom. She's not scared to say what she had to say, And she seems sweet. "So, wanna be friends?", She asked. "Sure", I said. "Cool", she said with a smile.

"Hey, do guys wanna have a sleepover at my house?", my best friend, Alaya, asked. "Sure, I can just ask my dad once he picks us up", I said. "Yeah, I'll ask my mom", my other best friend, Raliyah, said. "Ok, I'm gonna tell my mom about it", Alaya said. Yes! I can't wait!

I'm sitting in class. It's free time right now. I sadly, still haven't made any friends. I just sat there, looking around. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and saw this other girl. "Hi", she said. "Hi", I said. She grabbed her stuff and came and sat next to me.

"I'm Brittany", she said. "Madisyn", I said. "I noticed how lonely you be, but hey, I'm lonely too", she said. I giggled a little. She did too. "I've never actually had a friend or best friend before", I said. "Oh, well, I can be your best friend, or friend, or, we can just associate, or maybe-", I cut her off by giggling.

"Of course we can be best friends", I said. She squealed, then covered her mouth and looked around. I chuckled. "You are really funny", I said. She blushed. "Everyone says that, is it a good thing or a bad thing?", she asked nervously.

"It's definitely a good thing, you could be a comedian", I said. She chuckled, then we both bursted into fists of laughter.

Looks like I finally made me a friend😊😊😊.
