Last night was great. The speeches were long and painful, but that didn't matter. After all, the food made up for it. It might have even been better than Leo's famous tofu tacos.

However, we nearly did give the game away the first five minutes. We had been told not to tell the wizards that we were Demigods until later. Hecate wanted to mould our two worlds together, as Hera did with the Camps, but she was worried that if we act too sudden, another war may strike out.

The Ministry knew of our existence, durr, and so did the Headmaster of Hogwarts. The Deputy knew too, simply because she was the daughter of Minerva (the Roman version of Athena). Apart from that, we were just ordinary wizards.

Before we had even walked into the Great Hall, Chiron had pulled us aside. By us, I mean me and Annabeth. He lead us over towards a large cabin with a pumpkin patch; that was where we met Professor Dumbledore. He was tall, with long, silvery hair and half-moon glasses. He had a delightful craziness spark in him, reminding me of Chiron.

He nodded at us. "Good evening Mr Jackson and Miss Chase. I'm Professor Dumbledoor, Headmaster of Hogwarts. I was wondering if we could have a little chat?"

Furrowing my brow, I turned to Annabeth. She shrugged. "I'll deliver your students back to you in a few minutes Chiron." The Headmaster said to Chiron, who nodded and trotted back towards the Argo II.

Gesturing for us to follow, Dumbledore strode down into the woods that stood behind us. He was fast for being an old man. Both Annabeth and I struggled to keep up.

" I would like you two to do me a favour." He began. "I've heard of your achievements and think you are perfect for the job. I don't suppose you have, but have you heard of the name Harry Potter?"

Tripping over the roots of a tree, I said "No, Sir." Dumbledore chuckled at my formality. To my surprise, Annabeth didn't know either.

Stopping to pick a leaf off a mint tree, Dumbledore nodded. "Harry is a student of mine. He's a little younger than you, fourteen." Dumbledore chewed on the mint leaf thoughtfully, before continuing to track further into the woods.

The woods began to get darker, as did the air. "He is a special boy, one I believe to be in grave danger by none of than Lord Voldemort."
I grunted. "Who?"
"Um... Our version of your Kronos. Or perhaps Gaia? Although, I did hear of a Demigod turned bad named Luke Castellan. That sounds closer to Voldemort."

Annabeth snapped coldly. "You don't know anything about Luke."

Dumbledore didn't seem to care about her tone. He didn't even ask. Instead, carried on. "Mr Jackson, I hope you do not mind, but I'd like you to make friends with Harry, keep an eye on him, and protect him."

I frowned. This was an unusual quest. I was hoping to just have a normal year at school with my friends. However, that could never happen. I suppose deep down, I knew that.

" Sure. What are you expecting to happen? " I asked curiously.

" Something. " Dumbledoor wasn't very vague. Immediately, he stopped. He spun round. "Miss Chase, I assume you are well informed of the rule concerning my students awareness of Demigods? Well, I believe their is one student who will pick up on it sooner or later. Hermione Granger. Very bright. You need to watch her, drive off her suspicions."

Annabeth snorted. "She's the only person? We are doing some pretty cool stunts in the opening ceremony. Surely others will notice."

"Others will be lost within the magic. Believe me." Dumbledoor's eye twinkled.

Later on, I couldn't believe it when we just happened to sit next to Harry Potter and Hermione Granger. Harry was nice enough, but Hermione kept glaring at us like we were mules or something. She noticed my SPQR tattoo too. And Jason's.
