Chapter 4:The Ball

*Laci POV*
After an awesome night i sooner had to go back to this hell which i unfortunately call home for now.i walked though the doors nobody was awake. thank god i wanted nobody to see me like this i looked like hell.. i went up to my room to see someone i never expected kol asleep in my bed.. but what was i supposed to do kick him out. i missed sleeping next to him honestly so all i did was go in the bathroom and change my pajamas and got in bed having kol there made me feel safe like nothing would ever happen within his presents just before i closed my eyes i felt a tight grip around my waist it was kol.with that feeling i fell asleep in seconds.....

*Dream*

"Good morning darling" Kol spoke as kissing my for head. all i did was smile he made me so happy just being around him made me happy i knew it since we met he was my soul mate from the begging."Well good morning sunshine" i kissed his lips but the kiss got more intense by the second.sooner or later i wasn't getting out of bed for at least 30 more minutes.

I woke up to rustling in the bed but there was still a tight grip on my waist. He never left last night.. all i could do was stare at his face he was absolutely insanely perfect. but just as i was getting lost in my thoughts his chocolate eyes opened to my hazel ones. "Good morning Beautiful." he accent rung through my ears. "Good morning kol." i was trying to act like nothing happened but what really i really forgot was to wipe the blood off my face.. and he noticed and just smirked and went downstairs,but when he got out of bed so did I.i went into my bathroom and put my hair up but i soon realized tonight is the ball! i have to get ready with rebekah who I'm not sure likes me very much but i promised her.i walked down the grand staircase and saw everyone who was already getting ready so i just took a seat and starting getting my nails done when all of the sudden someone i never wanted to see again walked in.. Avana. i just ignored her every move,but she wasn't supposed to be out.. oh well ill deal with that later "Oh bekah or laci tell me how handsome i am." me and bekah just looked at each other and laughed but i let bekah reply. "Oh kol you know i cant be compelled." the rest of the mikaelson's smirked along with bekah's joke as did I. Next step of the day was hair. i let Rebekah do it cause usually i just straighten it. But the hair rebekah did was stunning with my golden brown hair it just looked amazing. it was loose curls i had never really curled my hair ever! but i went in my closet and looked for my dress started to panic a little because i couldn't find the dress anywhere.. kol gave that to me who would take it? but then i checked under my bed and it was there but i didn't put it there.. anyway, i put it on and i looked simply beautiful.i couldn't wait for kol to see.. next thing we did was makeup which i also let bekah do. but when we were all done i was so excited i didn't remember really ever going to ball's. i never really got invited to them..by the time i was done getting ready it was 6:55 so i had 5 minutes and i hadn't seen kol yet. but i do remember how he looked in a tux,so handsome you wouldn't believe it. just as i checked the time again it was 7! i could now go downstairs.. i walked downstairs to kol he looked dashing.i saw his jaw drop a little "Close your mouth sweetheart you'll catch Flies." with that i closed his mouth with my thumb. "Laci you look simply gorgeous!" with his comment i blushed and kissed his cheek. he took my hand and with that we went to get drinks.and not blood because i wasn't hungry but why i always am..

*Avana POV*

The mikaelson home was simply stunning so much detail and design,so classic and just beautiful.but anyway I'm almost done with my little plan of killing my sister if it doesn't go as planned ill just torture her until she dies. i cant live watching her suffer like this! but as soon as i heard foot steps i shoved my book under my pillow."Okay Little Which i bought you this dress i hope you like it"he smiled like a little boy on Christmas i was super cute. when i opened the box a beautiful light pink dress was in there my favorite color."Oh Niklaus i simply adore this lovely attire you have presented me with!" i screeched and hugged him! He kissed my cheek and walked out. i was so happy that this dress was my mine,but i had to get ready couldn't miss the ball. As soon as i was done and ready i walked down the stairs to my company Mr.Hybrid . he looked like he just watched someone he loved die. bad example anyway.. "Nik You look lovely!'' i smiled like a little girl my cheeks were hurting. all he did was take my hand and walk me to the bar. we had a few drinks before Elijah who i have also met today dashing young man. he was just so different than other vampires. announced there was a centuries old dance going on in the ball room. "Cant skip a tradition Hybrid." he chuckled and took my hand with that we danced i looked over to see my sister she looked so happy to bad i had to ruin it.

*Laci POV*

Me and kol started dancing it was just like old times when he would take me out into the rain and dance to the sound of the rain i remember everything with him like it was yesterday. he spun me around we were inches away from our faces he looked down at my lips but i couldn't take it so i went for it.. Yes i Laci Stefanson kissed Kol Mikaelson. there was to much intensity for me to handle but it felt so good to kiss him again.. but just as everything seemed perfect the song ended i told kol i will be right back i need air, and with that i kissed him and walked off.. i stepped outside i could feel the cold air but i didn't effect me I'm a vampire i didn't get effected by temperatures. just as i was walking towards the door i heard something and smelled something i couldn't resit... Blood. i followed the scent and it wasnt what i expected it was boy i doubt anyone would miss. so i finished my dinner for the night but one person seemed like enough,right? but i smelt more and more.and all were gone.. not a drop of blood on my dress though. i cleaned myself up and walked away but then i wasn't in a good mood anymore i was on the ground screaming in pain,i felt blood trickle from my nose. i looked up to see who was doing this,Avana... "Sister.. what are you doing?" i breathed out.. she just smirked as the pain increased my whole body was numb and nobody was around,nobody could help me.. but just as i lost hope Stefan walked out and ran over but with the flip of Avana's wrist Stefan's neck was snapped.. and she countined my pain.all i was doing was suffering. "I'm sorry sister This has to be done,you have to many and i cant let this continue." And the last thing i heard was "Laci!!" in his accent.but then it went black.

*Kol POV*

Laci... she was dead.she had died and i let this happen. This was my fault!! i walked over the this bratty bitchy witch. "You Killed Her.!" i shouted hoping she would be scared but her face smirked, "Why yes i did,well done kol golden star for you." she laughed at this i pinned her against a tree wanting to just rip her head off she killed the love off my life. "I'm going to kill you witch right here right now!!" he tighten my grip on her neck. "Not if i do it first." i was confused at her words but i just went black....
