The next day I got up bright and early because they were sending me to school. It was crazy and I didn't know their routine, geez I didn't even know were the food was. They got the food for me, cereal and milk.
"Callie, Brandon will be showing you around school. I will be there too if you need anything. I am the vice principle." Lina said.
I just shook my head, okay.
As we got to school I was amazed, there was a beach for the lunch room! But there was a ton of popular kids there, so I didn't really fit in. Talia, a popular and Brandon's girlfriend came up to us and just walked away all snobby like. I ran to the side walk that separated the lunch room or beach from the water. Was going to get out of their, because I had to find my little brother Jude. Brandon ran after me and left Talia, just because he was responsible for me. So if I ran away it would be on him.
Brandon yelled, "Wait up Callie!" As he ran after me.
I just kept walking, but then I thought I bet he has a phone. I stopped and put out me hand for his phone.
"Give me your phone." I demanded
"W-what? Why?" Brandon stuttered
"So I can get my little brother."
I finally got him to hand it over. I looked in the yellow pages on his phone and found Robert louis, and called his number (my brothers foster father). When Jude picked up the phone I could hear water running. I tried to talk fast so Robert didn't take the phone away from Jude. This is what I said,
"Hello, Jude?! Is that you?"
"Yes, Callie its me!"
" I'm coming for you don't worry, I'm out of juvie and fostered in an amazing home, just know I'm coming for you, I love you babe!"
Then all the sudden Robert takes the phone and all I can hear was a gasp then a click. I shut off the phone and handed it back to Brandon. I had to go get Jude, but B. wouldn't let me go alone. He was going to go with me.
Turns out as we were walking to the bus stop he told me he was missing his piano resightal for me. I didn't say anything because I felt bad for letting him do that.
As Brandon and I walked up to Robert's door. I told him to distract him while I went around back. As he was distracting him I opened the door quietly, and tip toed in. B's distraction didn't work long because he turned around and noticed I was taking Jude.
"YOU! GET OUT!!!" He screamed.
B tried to defend me, and screamed back at him.
I said, "I just want to see Jude."
When I said that he grabbed his gun right beside the door in the vanity and pointed it towards Brandon. I ran over to Jude that had his hands over his ears from all the yelling, and hugged him.
Turns out since Lina and Steph had a tracking device on Brandon's phone they had noticed he skipped school and his resightal, then tracked him down to Roberts house. As they pulled up to Roberts house they heard yelling. So, Steph called back up. Steph got her gun out and approached the door. She ran in before he could do anything, and tackled him. She screamed, "Get down on the ground now!" And cuffed his hands. Finally back up came and they took him and threw him in the back of a police car.
Meanwhile Steph, Lina, Brandon, and I were still in the house where B. Almost died. Steph and Lina were really upset with both of us.
"Do you know you could have died?"
"Yes..."
I interrupted Brandon before he could get another word out, "I made him, it was all my fault, don't blame Brandon."
"Well you both have consequences." Lina stated
Brandon's eyes got all red and teary. He was scared, because he never gets into trouble.
"Haven't you ever gotten into trouble?" I asked.
"Yes, I've stolen..." He hesitated, "I've stolen... Um, um a car. When. Was fourteen."
"Why are you lying?" I asked
"I don't know... It was a lighter package when I was six."
I laughed a bit, then Steph came up to us after they talked over our consequences.
"So, B. we talked this over and you will have no consequences, but if this kind of thing happens again you will have serious consequences." Steph stated, while Lina was by her side.
We were relieved of that and they had a family hug, and noticed that Jesus and Mariana wasn't there. We rushed back and lived to see another day.
