Hey guys.

I know I haven't updated in like two years, but like I have been busy lol.

But I want to continue this story because I feel like that I have grown in my writing, and I can probably write better than I did before. So yeah. But this might be a lie, IDK dude.

A reminder that I am not S.E Hinton. I can't perfectly portray every character. I'm sorry, pal.

Lucy opened the door carefully and stepped into the house.

Even though the house looked worn down, she got a good feeling about it. It felt like home, a feeling that always had been missing her entire life.

There were three boys inside of the house, and she quickly she assumed that they were her cousins. The first one of them who caught her eye was a man who was looking like a real life superman. He was also the first of them to talk.

"Hi! You must be Lucy?" He said with a smile on his lips.

"Well, yes I am." She answered with a big grin on her face.

"Well, my name is Darrel, and those are Ponyboy and Sodapop." He said while pointing to his two brothers sitting on the couch. One of them, who by the way looked like a movie star, smiled brightly to her. The other one looked a bit younger, but still cute. Like in a puppy way. He waved shyly to her. Lucy excitedly waved back to them and grinned largely.

She sat down on a chair and started to chat with all of them. She noticed that even though Ponyboy was a tad shy, he was really smart for his age.

She learned a few things about, for example, that Sodapop has a girlfriend named Sandy, and that Ponyboy really likes reading.

When a half an hour had gone, someone loudly marched trough the front door.

It was an attractive tall man, who had dark brown hair. He totally looked like the typical bad boy, and Lucy couldn't help but be a little bit blown away when she first saw him.

At first, he didn't see her. He just walked right past her and went straight to her cousins. But then he saw her. At first, he looked a bit shocked to see a brand new person, but he quickly put on a wolf grin as his eyes traveled down and up her body.

"Who's this broad?" He asked Sodapop as she couldn't hear them, and still with a big grin. This really pissed Lucy off.

"Someone way out of your league." She answered quickly with a smug face. His big grin decreased a little because of that comment.

"It's my cousin Lucy." Sodapop answered and laughed.

Lucy walked closer to the man, so she was just in front of him.

"And who might you be?" Lucy asked with a flirty voice. Not because she actually had the intention of doing something with him, but because she was just feeling playful, and that she was flirty of nature.

He grinned and said, "My name is Dallas Winston, but you can call me Dally, babe."
