Atmosphere's P.O.V:
"Bro, I just realized we are staying on the same floor that the Night Stalker once stayed in." Sam beamed with a little to much excitement, causing us all to stop furthering down the hallway.
"Excuse me!?" I hissed, "The one who was a Satanist, who murder and raped all genders?!"
"Yup, him." He said, "He was a little crazy."
"A little?!" Corey eyed him.
"Okay, a lot." He quickly corrected himself.
"Man, this place is literally scaring the shit out of me." My best friend groaned, before pushing me in front of him for his own protection.
I rolled my eyes, "Wow, Jake." I huff, "You're suppose to be protecting me."
"Nope." He mumbled, "Now use your powers to protect us."
"You got powers?" Ethan asked me.
"No I don't." I giggled, "Don't believe anything Jake says." I added.
"Hey!" Jake pouted.
"So, where are you taking us?" Grayson asked Sam.
"I think I know how to get to the roof." He smiled, "So, that's where we will go first."
"But isn't it closed off?" Colby asked.
"Yeah, but while we were searching for the bathroom key, I may have found the one that was labeled for the roof." He grinned.
"I hope we get caught." I mumbled.
"Wait, why?" Sam asked.
"Because than they will kick us out and we don't have to spend other minute in here." Corey answered for me.
"Exactly." I smiled.
"I honestly just don't want to die tonight." Grayson groaned.
"Doesn't it feel like someone is following us?" Jake whispered harshly to us.
"Now why are you trying to scare me even more than I already am." Corey groaned.
"I'm being serious." He spat, causing my emerald eyes to flutter up to his earthy ones.
"Jake, what's wrong?" I asked him as I rested my hand on his shoulder.
"Don't you feel it?" He asked.
I shook my head, "I feel general scared, but nothing else."
His eyes instantly became glossy as they flutter behind us and down the hallway. I let my eyes follow his glaze and saw nothing but an empty space. A sigh left my lips before cupping my hand with his and giving it a tight squeeze.
"You're fine, trust me." I reassured him.
We continued to walk down the hallway until it stop at a dead end. There was a tan metal door with the words 'Roof Access. Keep Out!', in a bold color.
"Sam, I don't think this is a good idea." I voiced my concern.
"Yeah, especially after what happened to that one girl not that long ago." Corey reminded him of the terrifying stories we read about earlier today.
