Atmosphere's P.O.V:

All sorts of different laughter were coming from every corner that filled up our cul-de-sac, warming up the chilly morning air.

There stood in the middle of the court were the majority of our friends, even the ones who flew up here to visit for this special weekend which had to do with our little boy turning the big four.

"Hey, you better not break his scooter, Jake!" Colby shouted at my best friend.

Jake rolled his eyes, "You should be telling Kian that." He puffed, "He broke the last one."

"That was an accident," Kian responded as he made his way out of Sam and Katrina's house.

"I'm just saying..."

Jake whispered something to Rayn, which caused him to giggle like crazy, but it sort of bothered Colby. And that's only because Colby is protective over Rayn.

"Rayn, what did Uncle Jake tell you?" He questioned, squatting down to his son's level.

"I can't say." He giggled, "I promised I wouldn't."

A small smile cracked onto Colby's face when he heard the word "promise" leave his son's lips. It reminded him of me.... of my friendship with Jake.

"Okay, good." Colby smiled, "You never break promises, remember that."

"I know." Rayn smiled back before running over to Jake's side again.

"That was nice of you," I whispered as I appeared by his side.

"He's a lot like you." Colby lightly chuckled, "A lot like you."

I gave him a weak smile before extending my hand out to his. He gently laced our hands together, before bringing it forward and kissing my knuckles. He muffled "I love you" against my skin before letting our hands fall in between us again.

"Mike and Kevin are almost here," Corey said as he walked outside his shared house with Devyn by his side.

"Finally." Reggie sighed in relief, "Of course we are waiting on them."

"Usually we wait on you, so shut it." Jake spat, making Reggie roll his eyes at his younger brother.

"Honestly, it's more like we wait on those two." Sam chimed in as he pointed over to Colby and me.

"Hey!" Colby and I both shouted.

"We are barely ever late to anything." I defended Colby and me even though they weren't lying.

"Lies." Sam chuckled before turning to Katrina, "Do you mind helping me get something from inside the house?" He asked her.

"Not at all, babe." She smiled before walking back into their house.

I guess you guys might be a little confused at the moment, but life has changed for everyone since the wedding. After living down in Los Angeles for a couple of more years, Colby and I decided that we wanted to move on and start a new chapter for our family in a different city. But, we weren't going to leave without our friends. So, once we opened up this idea with the main group, they decided to come to join us on the next adventure of our lives.

Colby and I ended up falling in love with a city in Northern California, which many of you may have heard of, South Lake Tahoe. We found a good chunk of land that would fit all of us and our growing families as well. So, we settled here just a little over a year ago, and we have never felt more at home here than we did anywhere else.
