Ezra woke up with Sabine wrapped in his arms, he'd cried himself to sleep that night, Erza strokes Sabine's wet hair, she'd let him cry on her that night. Ezra looks at her oversized shirt, it was also soaked with tears, Sabine had held onto him the whole night until he'd stopped long enough to catch his breath. Ezra leans forward and kisses the top of Sabine's head, rocking back and forth, Sabine snuggles closer to Ezra and breaths in deeply "it's alright Ezra, I'm here," Ezra runs his hands through her hair, it made him feel comforted. Sabine reaches up her hand and feels Ezra's hair, it'd grown out since the last time it'd been shaved, Sabine sighs and kisses underneath Ezra's chin, "I love you so much, Ezra, let nobody kid you," Ezra rocks quicker, his memories and emotions were becoming too much for him to handle. Ezra holds Sabine's hand, slowly, he leans back with Sabine still wrapped tightly in his arms. He loved this Mandalorian girl so much, Ezra kisses her head repeatedly, wanting to soothe her to sleep, Sabine curls up and nestles her head underneath Ezra's chin, Sabine tilts her head "goodnight Ezra, I love you," Ezra speaks with a breaking voice "I love you too Sabine," Ezra whispers those words continuously until he falls asleep "I love you, I love you, I love you,"
Sabine leans against the counter in the kitchen of the ghost, she was bored out of her mind and without anything to do on Chopper base, Sabine was dying for a fight. Ezra walks into the kitchen and grabs a bottle of vitamins, Sabine watches as he pours them into a cup and was about to swallow them, Sabine taps Erza's shoulder "Ummm Ezra?" Ezra turns to Sabine "hm?" Sabine grabs the vitamins "hm?" Ezra looks at the contents of the glass and his eyes go wide "hm!" Sabine nods her head "mmhm," Ezra gives her a weak smile and kisses her. Ezra pulls back "mmm," Sabine smiles "is there anything there I need to see?" Ezra looks at his datapad "not that I know of," Ezra sits down on the counter when he opens his holopad he collapses, Sabine worriedly runs over to Ezra and flips him over, she tries to help him, but something catches her eye. Sabine looks at Ezra's mail, and she saw it, a full report stating that Mandalore was in the state of total civil war, Sabine rests her head in her hands, she realizes that she got what she'd wished for, War.
