Welcome to the conclusion of the childhood of Erza and Sabine, this is the story where they finally realize something, They're not kids anymore, read this story arc and discover how they overcome their child-like innocence and begin their shifting change into adulthood.

Ezra walks with Sabine around the hospital on Mandalore, they were talking about everything imaginable, Ezra smiles at Sabine "you know, you didn't have to do that to Tristan," Sabine cringes "I know Ezra, you just couldn't believe the position that your injury put me in, on one hand, I wanted to be with the ones I loved, on the other, I was expected to be with my troops and my family, the grief I felt was unbearable," Ezra slowly grabs her hand, even though they kissed, Sabine felt that they really connected when they held hands, Sabine and Ezra's fingers entwine, Sabine looks into the distance, with the help of the newly liberated Lothal, grass was growing here again, seeds had been imported from Lothal's grass plains in an attempt to re-grow the fields and lush valleys that once were Mandalore, Sabine could feel the wind, she felt as if she was on Krownest, Sabine turns to her head to look at Ezra "when do you want to meet my family?" Ezra coughs "I thought I already met them," Sabine rolls her eyes "well yeah, but this will be different now that we're together," Ezra looks Sabine in the eyes "any time you want to," Ezra keels over, he'd had sharp pains in his entire body ever since he jumped on the concussion grenade, Sabine places her arm around Ezra "you do so much just to get my attention don't you?" Ezra lifts his shirt, the power of medical technology never failed to surprise him, his chest looked scarred, but it was actually there at least, they said his ribs were showing, but he couldn't believe that he could survive through something like that, Ezra leans on the rails, the grass was growing, he knew how beautiful it would be when the forests began again. Sabine leans up against him "I contacted Hera, she's gonna pick us up and we can talk to Kanan and Chopper, honestly, can't wait to see Jacen and Dawn," Ezra throws a rock off the ledge "yeah, it's been a long time no see," Sabine fells the breeze, it felt good, Ezra walks slowly back to the medical ward, he'd been privileged to come outside for a little while, but the doctors had him on pain medications, and he would probably be on them for life. Sabine doesn't realize he's gone until he is, she leans against the rail and watches the setting sun, anticipation filling her heart.

Sabine was often allowed to move about the hallways and look in on Ezra, she walks down this hallway now, everything was dark, low lights and illumination were used to help the very few patients remaining to sleep at night. Sabine looks in the area where Ezra stayed, and fund that he was not there, Sabine walks down the hallway and talks to the woman at the desk "where's mister bridger at?" the man points to the other side of the room "he's in one of the final recovery rooms, it's like an apartment with some medical equipment hidden here and there," Sabine nods "thank you,"

Sabine opens the door, she could hear a woman's voice, Sabine walks further into the room to investigate, there was a small kitchen/dining room Sabine pokes her head in, Hera sat at the table with him, looking very somber. Sabine sits next to Ezra "why do you guys look so sad for?" Ezra turns back to Hera "so, it was just gone, like as if it was never there?" Hera nods "it was gone just like that," she snaps her fingers as emphasis, Ezra shakes his head "there's no way that anything could have done that," Hera leans back in her chair "I saw it, Ezra, we all did... we saw the death star," Ezra raises an eyebrow "the death star?" Hera leans on her elbows "I know the name is weird, but it's self-explanatory," Ezra stands "well, we should travel to Yavin at once, how long ago was this?" Hera stands with him "several months ago," Ezra nods "let's go," Sabine stands with them "where are we going?" Ezra smiles "to cap some imps," Sabine follows them as they make their way back to the ghost and greet Kanan, Sabine sits in her seat, her artwork still there even after several years Hera takes a long look at the two of them "you two have grown so much," Sabine could swear that there were tears in her eyes as she lifted off, when they had left Mandalore, Sabine turns to Ezra "I'm so sorry that I missed your eighteenth and nineteenth birthdays Ezra. Ezra smiles "feels great to be an adult, I can legally drink alcohol now!" Hera laughs "what about you Sabine? you just turned twentyone right?" Sabine smiles "yep, I'm just glad to be here with so many people I love," Kanan turns around in his seat "no love for me then?" Sabine smiles "plenty love for you Kanan, but I don't have a taste for older men," everyone in the cabin bursts out with laughter, Sabine looks around "where's Jacen and Dawn?" Hera focuses on the task ahead of her "we left them on Yavin, there's not much else we could have done," Sabine nods "ah," Ezra turns to the cockpit window "alright captain, punch it!" Hera grabs the hyperspace lever and pushes it, the beautiful blue light fills the cockpit and fills Ezra with happiness, this is what he'd missed, so much time had been wasted in the infirmary and on the battlefield, the voices were gone from his head, the pain was absent from his heart, and his body had finished killing itself, he felt happy enough to scream 'Hallelujah!' Ezra gives Sabine a happy/loving look before walking back to his old room and lying on his old bed.

Soooooo this wasn't meant to be part of the story, but because of the 1K views I just got, here's an extended part! :)

Ezra was lying with both of his hands behind his head, Sabine walks in and leans against the bedpost "you try your best to look sexy like that don't cha'?" Ezra chuckles "nothing sexy over here," Sabine puts her foot on the bottom bunk and rests her head on the side, "I miss this place, but you know what I miss even more?" Ezra turns his head to meet her gaze "what?" Sabine leans in "waking up and falling asleep with you," Ezra grins and sits up, scooting over as much as physically possible, Ezra makes a place for Sabine to sit. Sabine climbs onto Ezra's bunk and sits with her legs dangling off the side "this place needs more artistic flare, that old picture of you and Zeb isn't enough to satisfy," Ezra moves to sit beside her "your right, except that you're wrong, Kanan once told me 'less is more'," Sabine nods "in a sense, yes, but blandness leaves too much room for depression," Ezra wraps his arm around her "yeah, but your my depression medication," Sabine shakes her head "guess I was drafted," Ezra shakes his head "not at all bean, if the pain is too much for you, you can walk through that door whenever you like and if you never look back I can, and never will blame you, I love you enough to let you be with whoever you want to," Sabine looks at the door, as if pondering her options, she hops off of the bunk and walks over to the door, her hand hovers over the door controls, slowly, she reaches for the lock button and taps it ever so lightly. Sabine slowly turns to Ezra and walks "not today, not now, not ever," Sabine climbs to the top bunk and kisses Ezra, forcing him to lean back, she wraps her arms around Ezra's neck and kisses him, Ezra reaches for her armor, unstrapping each piece and allowing it to fall to the ground, Sabine runs her hands through Ezra's hair, provoking him to continue, Ezra begins to lean over Sabine, kissing her continuously, Sabine forces Ezra's jacket off, reaching for the seams of his shirt, she lifts the shirt off his head and continues to kiss him, Ezra didn't stop her, he was focused on keeping his mouth to her's, Sabine feels is chest and back, he was cold to the touch, Sabine was surprised, the coldness of his body was difficult to understand, but impossible to resist, Sabine guides Ezra's hand to the zipper for the jumpsuit he'd bought her several years ago, she had never worn it until her old one could fit her no longer. Ezra unzips the jumpsuit and Sabine pulls her arms out of the sleeves, the jumpsuit fell to her waist, Sabine felt of Ezra's body, she wraps her legs around him and kisses him. Ezra moves his lips, to her jaw, he kisses her jawline while keeping his hand behind her head and behind her back, he intensifies his kisses, moving to her neck and tracing her collarbone, Sabine gasp at his romanticism, she'd never seen this much intensity from him, he felt like ice, but he loved like fire, Sabine shivers, she hadn't realized it, but she'd been shivering with her teeth chattering and Ezra had noticed it, breaking apart his kisses and looking her in the eyes with worry present in his eyes and face, Sabine stares him back while her teeth chattered "are you alright bean?" Sabine nods slowly "yeah Ezra, I'm good," Ezra was unconvinced. Ezra hops off the bunk and grabs a blanket, he slowly wraps Sabine in the blanket while she shimmies out of the jumpsuit, Ezra catches the jumpsuit and boots, placing them on the nearby dresser, he then pulls off his boots and climbs onto the bunk with Sabine, wrapping his arms around her he pulls her close to him, Sabine leans her head on his chest, which was still cold, it felt like a pillow with an everlasting cold side, she figured that if she could drive Ezra this crazy by locking a door, she wondered what else could trigger a reaction, Sabine intended to laugh in her mind, but she accidentally laughed out loud, Ezra shifts "what's so funny?" Sabine nestles her head into Ezra's chest "nuthin' I just think you're the cutest thing that I ever did see," Ezra lightly kisses her head "well, you won't ever worry about sharing me, I'm yours for life," Sabine was wrapped in a blanket, and the arms of the man she adored, she guessed that if this night ended like this, that everything would be alright. It'd all be alright.
