Tyber Zann paid for Sabine and Ezra to each have a room in a local Inn near Theed, Sabine and Ezra walk through the hallways of this hotel, Sabine follows Ezra to his room, she had the jacket of her dress uniform already unbuttoned by the time they got there, Sabine throws the jacket on the king-size hotel bed and sprawls out on the mattress, her dress shirt was untucked, and her shoes were in the nearest corner, Ezra smiles, he loved the mess, to him, it was beautiful and it was what made her special. Sabine rolls over and looks at Ezra with half-opened eyes, he was about to go to the other room Tyber booked for them, "now where do you think you're goin' tiger?" Ezra looks at the doorknob "I thought you'd want some privacy?" Sabine rolls her eyes "Ezra when I joined the Consortium, I was showering shoulder-to-shoulder with men, I believe that you're excused," Ezra looks at Sabine, her messy dress uniform, both hands behind her back supporting her up, her bare feet that were crossed one over the other... and her brown eyes, those beautiful brown eyes that made her so beautiful and seductive, Ezra unclips his cape, Tyber said for him to keep it as a gift, Sabine still sat there, with one eyebrow raised "what are you gawping at?" Ezra chuckles "you," Sabine lifts one hand to her chest dramatically "me? You, the mighty Ezra Bridger are looking at me?" Ezra laughs and rushes over to her "come' ere," Ezra wraps his arms around her, pulling her into a tight embrace, Sabine laughs "it's so easy to entice you, Ezra," Ezra pulls back "Nah, you just keep catching me in a good mood," Sabine rolls her eyes "Yeah, right... why don't you ditch the armor?" Ezra lets go of Sabine "sorry Sabine," Ezra turns to leave the room, Sabine stands up "Ezra, what are you doing?" Ezra doesn't answer, he needed time to himself for a little while, Ezra leaves and walks across the hall to the other room.
Several hours later
Sabine opens her room door, looking in both directions, she crosses the hall and opens Ezra's room door, his armor lay in a neat pile next to the corner, along with his cape and jumpsuit, Ezra lies in the bed, awake, trying his best to go to sleep, Sabine assumed that he was exhausted and was asleep, she lies down next to Ezra, laying her head on his chest lightly, he was covered with the blanket, Sabine just wanted to be with him. Ezra stirs, Sabine's eyes fly open, she'd been caught "hey Ezzy, didn't mean to wake you up, I can't sleep here, it's too weird," Ezra pushes her off and sits up, he sits on the right side of the bed, slouched over, as if he was depressed. Sabine stares at Ezra's scarred back, he had so many, Sabine reaches out and outlines a large one with her finger, Ezra doesn't move, her touch didn't faze him, Sabine sits up and scoots over beside him. Tears were traveling down his face and falling on his track pants, Sabine puts her arm around him "hey, what's wrong Ezzy?" Ezra's breathing becomes ragged, it became increasingly harder for him to breathe every few minutes, Sabine sits on her knees and wraps her arms around Ezra, attempting to comfort him, Sabine prods again "Ezra? What's wrong?" Ezra shakes his head "you don't know, you don't know anything," Sabine pulls back "don't know what?" Ezra's breathing worsens, Sabine saw the signs, he was having a panic attack, Sabine lets go of Ezra and stoops down in front of him, bringing herself face-to-face with him, she looks at him, lightly tilting his chin up, his eyes meet hers, they were bloodshot and wet, tears streaked his face, but when he looked, he saw her brown eyes, her beautiful brown eyes, Ezra throws his arms around her, drawing her close to him. Ezra's hands curl around her back, his fingers making a ball, he sobs and whispers into her ear "don't go, please don't go," Sabine kisses his cheek, whispering into his ear "I'm not going anywhere, Ezra, I'm staying right here, right here with you," Ezra gasps "good," he tightens his grip around Sabine, she squirms, Ezra keeps his grip steady "no, please don't go," Sabine leans her head on his shoulder "Ezra, let go," Ezra loosens his grip, enough for her to maneuver out, Ezra lies down, Sabine follows him, letting him wrap his arms around her, Sabine doesn't sleep until she hears Ezra snore, he didn't usually snore unless he was upset, she knew this and this was enough to help her fall asleep.
Sabine wakes up the next morning, Ezra was sitting on the edge of the bed, the light floods into the room, she was able to have a good look of Ezra, he had a man's frame, and he filled it well, Sabine looked at the scars on his back, several were about the size of baseballs, she slowly unfolds her hand and presses onto one of the scars, Ezra jolts, turning to Sabine and smiling widely "hey babe," Ezra crawls onto the bed and kisses her, "what's up?" Sabine smiles, wrapping her right arm around him "nothing much, just thinking about you," Ezra kisses her cheek "that's nice, I don't remember you coming in last night, was I asleep?" Sabine feels sad, she didn't want to tell him, but honesty was a good thing, she runs her hand down his back and side "well, you were awake, but you weren't doing the best, so you might not remember," Ezra nods "alright, want to get some food?" Sabine pushes her mouth to his ", yeah, some food would be nice," Ezra wraps both arms around her and speaks between kisses "should we go on bean? If we don't we'll be here in bed all day," Sabine pulls Ezra closer "that doesn't sound so bad to me," Ezra knew what it was going to be, they'd be here all day, Sabine pushes Ezra, forcing herself on top of him, Ezra looks at her, Sabine simply smiles "bet you weren't expecting that one were ya?" Ezra sits straight up, Sabine feels of his muscled chest and abdomen, moving to his back and neck as she pleased. Sabine could feel the cold coming from Ezra, cold like ice, cold to the very touch, Sabine scoots closer to Ezra, wrapping her knees around him, he leans back, supporting himself with his arms. Sabine could feel everything, his back, his arms, chest, and neck, wanting everything and taking everything, Ezra breaks the silence "hey Sabine?" Sabine pulls away "yeah?" Ezra looks her up and down "are you cold?" Sabine looks at her hands, they were shaking like crazy, her teeth were chattering, and her eyes were wide and dilated "Nah babe, I'm not cold at all," Ezra was unconvinced, he wraps his arms around her waist and slowly brings her down, placing her tenderly onto the sheets beside him, Ezra lightly kisses her cheek before wrapping her tightly with the blanket "is this better?" Sabine nods "yeah, this is better," Ezra smiles "ok," he begins to walk away and Sabine reaches out "but it'd be better with you," Ezra looks back, he had to decide whether to eat, or spend quality time with his girlfriend, Ezra climbs into bed with Sabine and pulls her close, kissing the top of her head "alright Sabine, tell me when you warm up," Sabine felt it... radiating heat, she had no idea how Ezra did it, yet at this moment, she really didn't care.
Sabine and Ezra sit across from each other at a Naboo cafe, talking about everything, ranging from politics on Lothal, to the empire, and the list continues. Ezra looks t the direction of the sun, the sky was still orange from where the sun had come up, he sighs, everything here was beautiful, he turns his head and looks at Sabine absolutely everything, by noon, they were on a transport, heading back home.
