The New Kid

chapter 1: Newcomer

Michael's POV:

BEEP BEEP

I groan as I hear the loud ass alarm go off signaling me it's 6 am. I get up from my cozy bed and get some clothes for my first day of hell. Oops I mean school. Nope I definitely mean hell!!

I pull out a pink cropped hoodie and some black skinny jeans along with my white vans to complete the look.

At my old school in Melbourne everyone bullied me for being girly, mostly because I was gay. I was so happy to hear that my mum got a job in Sydney so I could get away from those shitheads. I just hope the people like me here.

After my morning routine, I head downstairs only to spot my mother drinking her coffee and eating a cheese toastie while reading the newspaper.

"Morning," I say as I hug her placing a kiss on her cheek. "Morning sweetheart, are you ready for your first day of your new school?" She asked.

"I'm a little nervous, but I'm good," I smiled at her as she returns one back

"Well anyways I'm going to head out, don't wanna be late for the bus," I grab my backpack from the closet. "Alright, I won't be back from work till 5 in the morning." She yelled as I walk away.

I walked to the bus stop and I notice nobody there, so I decide to check my Instagram and listen to Rex Orange County (a/n: yall should follow me on my Instagram ;) @chicken.tender_queen)

Moments later I felt a presence beside me. I look up and I see a guy around my age with shaggy hair. He was wearing a batman shirt with thick rim glasses with some black skinny jeans. Not gonna lie he was hella cute, but like also daddy material.

I guess I was staring for awhile cause when I snapped out of my little fantasy I saw him looking at me. Hazel meeting green. I'm pretty sure he was smirking, but that might have been my imagination.

"H-hi there," I blush like an idiot. "Hey," he said giving a little wave.

"I'm Ashton, and you are?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. "I'm Michael, nice to meet you." I smiled a little. "Well Michael I hope we can be great friends" He was for sure smirking now.

The yellow contraption finally came and we got on.

I walk to the back spotting an empty seat. I scoot towards the window not really wanting anybody to notice me. I soon feel the weight of the seat go down, I turn only to see Ashton with his eyes on his phone.

As I'm looking at him, I feel a blush creep on my face. He suddenly looks at me with a smirk painted on his lips.

"Yes Michael?" he said with a cocky tone.

"N-nothing!" I quickly turn back to the window and just stayed looking out till we arrived at school.

Everyone began to get off the bus and I'm the last one off. I look around and I see how huge the school is. How the hell am I supposed to find the front office?!

"Come on Mikey, I'll show you to the office." A familiar voice says behind me. I turn and see Ashton.

I blush a little at the nickname. "O-okay" I say looking at my feet.

He starts to walk and I follow behind him like a little baby chick.

We made it to the office and I notice a girl with pink hair wearing a large sweater that said 'HENTAI' across the front with black legging along with mismatched colored vans.

She looks at us and practically runs over to us and introduces herself.

"Hello friend my name is Colleen and welcome to Vapor High."

I really hope you like the first chapter so far. If I discontinue this story in the 3rd chapter don't worry about it because I don't really mean it cause I've already written this story so many times in the past, so don't worry I'll write more.
