Were Not Friends
-Ruel's POV-
After class I grabbed my bag and passed Jack to y/n. (Her bag)
Y/n: hey be careful with him, he's a gentle one.
Ruel: clam down, jack and I are buddy's.
Y/n: well I best have a chat with him about his choices in friends. I don't think you're a good example for him.
Ruel: says you, you're not a qualified physicist.
Y/n: whatever.
We walked out of class and over to the group.
Holly had a big smile on her face and I saw y/n shoot her a look.
Holly: so you two are getting along well.
Taylor: nice to see you're becoming friends.
Y/n: we're not friends.
Ruel: finally something we agreed on.
Ethan: yeah I can feel it.
Carson: it's called looovvee.
They all teased and laughed.
Y/n: okay, shut up now guys.
We all sat down at a table outside and began to eat lunch.
Carson: so the school camp is tomorrow.
Taylor: oh shit, I completely forgot.
Ruel: where is it?
Y/n: it's out in the middle of nowhere, the teachers barely watch us on this trip so we get to do whatever we want practically
Ruel: that's sick.
I swear to god if I get pared with y/n for anything.
She just gets on my nerves so much and I can't handle it anymore.
She always has a comeback for everything or something to say.
-y/n's POV-
Ugh Ruel Van Dijkhead is the most annoying guy I've ever met.
I honestly don't understand how my
friends like him.
After school I went home and shoved what I needed for camp in my bag, had a shower and went to bed.
THE NEXT MORNING
I got up and grabbed my bag that was packed for camp.
I left for school and went to the bus where my friends were and Ruel.
He's not my friend.
Taylor: Carson and I are sitting together, sorry y/n.
Y/n: it's alright, go have fun with your boyfriend.
Taylor: thanks y/n.
The both got onto the bus and sat together.
I put my bag under the bus.
Ruel: so you're putting jack in there now?
Y/n: shut up ruel. It's a bag.
Ruel: you're moody.
Y/n: what ever you say MoTHeR.
Ruel: thank you ChILd.
I shot him a dirty look.
He walked off onto the bus and I was with Holly and Ethan.
Ethan: we better get going.
Holly: yeah I'm not getting the blame for being the last on on the bus.
We laughed and they go on the bus, I followed and looked around for a seat.
Y/n: well shit.
Taylor: there is a seat next to you're new buddy Ruel.
Y/n: were not friends.
Ruel: well actually my bag is seated here, her name is Anna. So you might have to sit on my lap.
Y/n: fuck off Dijkhead.
I grabbed his bag and threw it at him, before sitting next to him.
Ruel: that's rude, she has feelings.
Y/n: you're jokes aren't funny when you copy mine.
Ruel: well this is gonna be a long ass trip.
The bus drove off and the start of this journey began.
Some students were watching a movie that the teacher put on.
Holly and Ethan were talking and she had her legs over his knees.
They are actually really cute together.
Taylor and Carson had fallen asleep cuddled up together.
Sometimes I wish I had something like that.
But I know it hurts too much to let anyone that close again after losing my brother....
Ruel: are you alright?
Y/n: yes I'm fine.
I brushed my hair out of my face and looked at him, pulling myself together and not letting it get to me.
Ruel: okay, well since you were mean to Anna I'm going to use you as a pillow.
Y/n: wait, what?
He put his head on my shoulder and his arms around me pulling me closer to him.
Y/n: I didn't agree to this.
Ruel: exactly, you hate me so it's your punishment ocean.
Y/n: oh wow thanks.
Ruel: okay shit up now I'm trying to sleep.
I did as he wished for once.
After about 5 minutes he was peacefully
sleeping on my shoulder.
I pulled a blanket over him and he cuddled into me.
I don't exactly know why, but it wasn't bothering me him being asleep next to me.
I got bored after a while and began to play with his hair not exactly knowing what I was doing.
He smiled while sleeping and I smiled.
He was so peaceful and it was nice to see someone like that.
After a while I fell asleep too.
