-Ruel's POV-
I woke up to the soft sound of y/n's breath hitting my chest.
Her beautiful face was rested against me as she cuddled into my chest.
My arms were tightly wrapped around her, keeping her close to me and safe.
She had seemed to have woken and buried her face into my chest.
I smiled and ran my hands through her hair gently, she lifted her head and smiled at me before placing her hands on my chest and shoulders.
I looked into her beautiful eyes, if I look at them too long sometimes I get lost in them.
It was almost if time had stopped.
My eyes flickered to her lips and then back up and I watched as hers did the same.
I pulled her closer to me and her hand slipped to the back of my neck.

Holly: get the fuck up fighters, or should I say lovers now?
Holly peaked her head into our tent and
Y/n grabbed a pillow and threw it at her.
Y/n: bro, get out!
All that was running through my mind was: holy fuck, we almost kissed. What do I do now, she probably thinks I like her and I definitely don't.
Holly left and y/n crawled off of me and grabbed her hoodie, slipping it over herself and putting her shoes on.
I was a bit dazed as to what was going on  as I just sat up in our tent and watched her.
She grabbed my shirt and threw it to me.
Y/n: get up.
She left the tent and went outside to holly.
I pulled the shirt over my body and sat there confused as to what I was feeling.
-Y/n's POV-
I got out of the tent as soon as possible.
I almost kissed Ruel.
What was I thinking, I was cuddled up to him all night.
Ugh how could I do that, I can't be close to again.
It hurt too much when Liam left.
He was a huge part of my life, my brother and I were inseparable.
I looked up to him as a male role model, he was my rock and I know I'll never see him again.
I've pushed away any male in my life and I wasn't about to let Ruel in, I couldn't.
Holly: you and Ruel looked pretty cozy in there all cuddled up and close.
Y/n: shut up holly, you know I can't.
Holly: just one guy y/n.
Y/n: holly you know I can't. Not after what happened to Liam. He was the last male I let in and I refuse to let him in because I can't get her again like that!
I looked around and realised that Ruel was out the tent and heard that.
Y/n: shit.
Ruel walked off into the bush and I ran after him.
Y/n: Ruel wait!
Ruel: why, you obviously can't let me in or
some shit. So what does it matter?!
Y/n: Ruel...
He stopped and turned to me and looked down to me.
Ruel: who's Liam then?
Y/n: Ruel please.
Ruel: was he your boyfriend?
Y/n: no, shut up! He was my brother! Fuck you!
Ruel: well what happened and why do you hate me?
Y/n: not everything is about you! Ugh I hate you.
I threw my hands against his chest and pushed him before storming off.
-Ruel's POV-
Shit, I had already hurt her.
I was so mad at myself and I couldn't deal with that.
Ruel: y/n wait!
I started to follow her as I was stopped by holly.
Holly: Ruel she needs some space to cool down right now, I will convince her to go get coffee with you when we get back home and you guys can sort your shit out.
I agreed and she left going off to find y/n.
