Crossing the enemy line 1

PERRIE

I don't know for how long I am running around the woods. I keep on searching for them but I can't seem to find where did they go. I shouted their name a lot of times while bearing the pain I'm feeling because of the gunshot wound on my back. It's still dark and I don't know where to go but I need to keep moving if I wanted to live.

"Michelle!! JB!! Samantha!!" I shouted their names once more and look around then I hear footsteps approaching me. I stop and turn around but there's no one behind me "Jade?"

I bit my lower lip as I feel a gush of pain from my wound again so I decided to move. I keep on walking for I don't know how many minutes more when I hear a voice.

"Do what I asked you to do Perrie, kill her and I'll let JB live."

My heart starts racing when I heard JB's name, Perrie and a girl. I quickly walk towards the voice though it's dark, I manage to see a blonde girl standing and holding a gun. I also saw JB kneeling on the ground beside the girl aiming her gun at her head.

'JB.' I whispered "I can't do this, I really can't. I'm sorry." I furrow my eyebrows as I hear my own voice. I look at the blonde girl holding a gun as my eyes widen on what I saw. Jade is kneeling a few steps away from her while she's aiming the gun at her.

"Do it Edwards!!!" the other girl shouted. I move quickly thinking of what to do to save them and her. I didn't mind the pain I'm feeling right now; all I need to do is to rescue them.

"Don't Perrie! I'll be fine; Jade did everything she can for us. She doesn't deserve to die." I stop when I heard those words from the youngest Edwards, I look at the girl she called Perrie as she slowly turns around to look at her. I felt like someone punch me in the gut when I saw her face.

"S-she d-does look like m-me.' I mumble as tears rolls down on my face. JB give her a small smile and say "Just take care of Samantha for me."

I can't seem to take what's happening in front of me as I see confusion on Perrie's face.

"I have to stop her." I said even though I'm confused why I'm seeing myself. I start dragging myself towards them and almost manage to reach the two girls.

"Thank you for being my bodyguard Agent CM." I widen my eyes when Perrie aims the gun she's holding onto her temple and shot herself. I watch as her body slowly falls on the floor.

'No...' I whispered and look at my own body on the ground "No!!!!" I shouted.

JADE

I open my eyes when I heard Perrie moaning beside me, when I look at her, I saw beads of sweats on her forehead and her eyebrows furrow. I think she's having a nightmare. I shake her body to wake her up but it's no use.

"Babe... wake up." I said while shaking her body once more. She continues to move her head from left to right. I'm starting to worried as I can't wake her up.

"Perrie, wake up! Perrie!"

'No...' she mumbles, I hear movements beside me and find out that her cousins and Samantha are now awake and looking at us "Jade?" Michelle called me.

"I can't wake her up. She's having a nightmare." I answered and shook Perrie's body once more and this time, a little harder "Perrie!! Wake up!"

"No!!!" she shouted and her eyes suddenly opens. She's breathing rapidly as I hold her hand. Perrie looks at me then without a word, she moves her body in sitting position and pulls me into a hug and starts to cry.
