Chapter 11

"Wait don't do it!" I hear.. Is that...Paisly?
I turn around in shock. She races at me and hugs me. I'm still shocked I haven't moved a muscle. Why would Paisly be here? She stops hugging to look at me. "Why the heck did you almost do that?? Tulip...I..I can't believe it's you" I just sit there ashamed looking at her. "Oh sweetheart...what's wrong" I don't want to talk but I speak up quietly and in the quietest voice I have I say "Everything." And that was it. I started crying like a river. Or a rainstorm. Paisly sits down with me and I just sit there in tears. She hugs me again "Tulip..don't cry. You don't need to cry" I just stop making a fool of myself and lay my head on her shoulder. Paisly is my Brothers girlfriend. She's like a sister to me. We sit there in silence for a little bit. "So, why are you here?" She asks me. "Don't you know why I'm here?" She doesn't respond and just looks at me. "all I know is I heard you, your brother, and parents were in the hospital." "That's all I know too." I respond with. She seems confused but doesn't say anything. "So what about you?" I ask. Paisly doesn't say anything for a while. We just stare off into the distance. Minecraft is much prettier in person than on a computer screen. As we sit there. I start to hear footsteps. I don't say or do anything except look over at Paisly in a worried manner. She stares back at me like she hears it too. We both jump up and bring our swords out. Mine is iron but Paislys is Diamond. Looks like she's been here longer than me. I don't say anything though. I decide to bring my bow out instead because we might need it. We stand there looking around as the footsteps get faster and louder. It seems like time is speeding up. Everything is happening quickly now. We're both really confused. When I see a body running towards me and before I can get a shot at it I get tackled and hugged really tightly. Of course. It's Connor. I hug him back so Paisly doesn't hit him. "Ops. Sorry Tulip, I didn't mean to hit you to the ground. He stands up and grabs my arm to pull me up. I let him but I'm still upset with him because of what happened earlier. I don't show my anger or anything. He looks at Paisly and says. "Paisly, right?" She nods and says back "Connor, right?" They have met plenty of times before because Paisly was always at our house and I was either video chatting Connor, or he was over at my house. They both smile and look at me. I stand there just staring at the ground playing in the dirt with my feet. Connor puts his hand on my shoulder and I lift my head up. "Tulip...I'm sorry about earlier..." I purse my lips to nicely and quietly give him a signal that we will talk later. Paisly starts talking like she didn't even notice what just happened. "So why were you running here Connor?" His eyes widen. I look at him "Connor..." "We're being watched.." He says quietly. We all slowly turn in the direction Connor is looking....
