Nobody's POV
A soft and broken voice reacted to Ali. Ashlyn was sitting on a bench at the end of the subway. She had been crying and was all cold. ' I am so sorry Ali, but I can't hold myself back anymore. I just lost it.' Ashlyn said in full emotion.
' I just had enough. She keeps on blaming me for what happened. But I couldn't do a thing about it. I just want to explain the situation to her. But I guess it will never happen. just like that girl I like so much. It is all those things combined that made me run away.' Ashlyn said with tears rolling down her face.
' Ash it is okay. That she isn't the first choice of Ellis anymore doesn't mean that it is your fault. You are an amazing person. Beautiful, sense of humor we all like you, Ash! ' Ali said with a smile on her face. ' So are you going to tell me about your new girl crush? Or do I have to pull it out of you?'
Ashlyn's POV
Okay, don't stress the ** out ash, just stay calm. Let her know it's her throughout simple hints. maybe she will get it. ' Sheee uuhm, she is funny, beautiful, smart, supportive and she has beautiful tattoo's. When I started talking about tattoo's I noticed that her eyes changed from expression. From curiosity to thinking modus.
After I talked with Ali I noticed I was getting more relaxed every single minute. As we were walking back to the hotel Ali gripped my arm and said ' I am never letting you out of my sight ' I didn't know how to react. I grabbed all my balls together and just asked her on a date. She smiled at me for a second and then said ' Tomorrow after training at 4 o'clock. I will meet you in the lobby.'
Wow, wait what? Did I just made... I can't believe the thing that just happened. I got a date with THE ALI KRIEGER.
Ali's POV
Wow, I can only think of dating someone like Ashlyn. I don't think she knows that I have been in love with her since Frankfurt. We spend a lot of time together because she was the only one I knew there. Then she followed me to the Washington Spirit. D.C. was really a beautiful time together. Since she went to the Orlando Pride it became a bit harder to see her without letting the media know that " There might be something going on to these two soccer players from the U.S. WNT." But the only thing I really wanted to do was crawl up against her in the evening and cuddle all night.
