Nobody's POV

They have decided that they are going to order some dinner. They both were lazy and tired to go out for some dinner. They ordered sushi. When Ash came out of the shower Ali already ordered food. 'I hope you like sushi because I also ordered some for you' Ali said. 'Yeah, sushi is fine by me. Good choice. 'Ash smirked. She knew there was going to be a bond with Ali that could only get stronger. But she had doubts about telling Ali the real side of the accident. Things she went trough. Things that could scare her off. That was the last thing Ash wanted. To create more distance between them.
Before the accident that happened with Ashlyn, she and Ali grow to each other. They went on several coffee dates. Well, Ash saw them as dates. Ali probably not. And now that they are on the same NWSL team is it only getting more.

Ashlyn's POV

Every time we went on a date it was nice. Ali could let me think of something else. She takes my mind off things. When I am with her I feel important. It feels like I matter. And only she can do that to me. Ali went down to the hotel lobby to get our sushi. I like that about her. She can be so competitive about some of the things. This afternoon also. Maybe I let her win again if we are going to do it again sometime.
Ali hands me my sushi over. 'How much was it Al?' I said. 'Noo nevermind. I already feel sorry about your loss to me today'. I saw Ali smirking.
Why was she giving me all those signals? Were they real? Of course they were real. But I don't think of the way I want them to be...

When we finished the sushi, I went for another run. As I came back Ali was watching Netflix again. 'Hey Ali, ehm I think I need to talk to you... ' Ali didn't know about what I guess but she is going to figure it out very fast.

Nobody's POV

Ash and Ali were sitting on the bed when Ash started talking. 'Ali I need to tell you something very important but, I don't know how you are going to react. It's not easy to say... I struggled with it for almost years.' Ali was getting nervous. What was so important that she couldn't tell her before. 'Come on Ash, just say it. You can tell me everything and you know that.'

Ash was getting more and more nervous. Then she convinced herself to tell it. It's now or never. But right after the moment that she wanted to open her mouth, Hope stormed inside the room. Ali was scared so in her reflex she dived behind Ash. ' What are you doing here Hope?' Ash asked.

'You are the person that ruined my career Ashlyn Harris. And you are going to pay for that! I know everything. I've heard your conversation with Jill earlier this week. I am going ruin your career as you did by mine. Your life will never be the same again!' When she left Ash wasn't saying nor react. She was staring at the place where Hope just stood. ' Ash,  what the hell was that? Ashlyn?' Ashlyn didn't response she stood up and walked out of the hotel room. When Ashlyn left Ali didn't come after her. She let Ashlyn do it her way. Because she knew that Ash was going to ignore her and maybe even start a fight. She cares about Ash so much that she went to Whitney instead. Whitney and Ash were very close. They were hanging out since College.

Ashlyn's POV

I went walking until I got lost. I've walked for like 3 hours now. In those 3 hours, I had Ali calling me 5 times and she was properly with Whitney because I have 2 missing calls also from Whit. I am not going to react. I need some time to think. How am I going to stop Hope? Without hurting others. She knows my whole story and I am afraid that when she opens up that Ali will dump me.

Two hours later I was lost. My phone died 30 minutes ago so I can't call anyone. Super, my career is properly on an end, I've lost the love of my life and I am going to end up in the middle of nowhere.

Ali's POV

It's now 3 hours since Ashlyn's runaway. I'm still with Whitney trying to figure out where she went. But she's still not answering her phone. Maybe I should have run after her. What if she's lost and her phone has died.

' Whit, I am going to look for her. If you join me maybe you can search on the other side of town. '

' Good idea Ali. We keep in contact with each other throughout Facetime. Should I warn the rest of the team?' Whitney said.

Ali was now looking for over an hour. She asked everywhere if someone had seen a 5'7 feet woman with long blonde hair and she showed them a picture. Nobody had seen her. But then out of nowhere, a man came to Ali. 'I think I saw a woman looking like that in the subway. She has been there for over an hour.'

'Thank you so much.' As soon as I thanked the man I started runnin' as hard as I could.  I even started yelling for Ash.

' ASH! ASHLYN WHERE ARE YOU?!' I could hear a broken voice react.
