Chapter 1: USWNT Camp.

Nobody's POV

It was a sunny afternoon and Ashlyn just got back from the supermarket. When she was on her way to the supermarket she noticed that she forgot her phone. No big deal she thought she was only gone for half an hour. But when she came back she saw that she had two missed calls from Jill Ellis. She was very suprised. Hope and Alyssa were the goalkeepers since that accident that happend 2 years ago with ash , so she didn't expected a call from Jill.  Ashlyn called Jill back right away. 

*Phone call

Ashlyn: ' Hey Jill , I saw that you called me. Is there something going on? '

Jill: ' Hello Ashlyn , glad you called back so soon. Yes, there is something going on. Hope solo got injured yesterday with training. She got hooked up on the goalpost. She has a giant cut on het arm. Her muscles are sliced trough. She isn't able to play for several weeks.'

Ashlyn: ' Oh damm how is she doing? Is she feeling well?'

Jill:' No she isn't , she pretend she is tho. But she went to the teammedicals and they said that she isn't. So I was wondering what you were going to do for the rest of the month.'

Ashlyn: ' Nothing , well I planned some things but they are not important.' 

Jill: ' Well how soon can you be here? And I will tell it to Hope and the rest of the team. See you as soon as you can be here.' 

Ashlyn: ' Thanks, I'll be packing my stuff right away! I can catch the plane of 5:34 pm tonight. See you tomorrow evening than! Bye Coach!' 

Jill: ' See you tomorrow Ash! Travel save! Bye'

Ash's POV

OMG! I got in! I have to catch the plane of 5:34pm. Ali need to know, maybe she will expect it but I need to text her! 

Nobody's POV

Ashly packed her stuff right away and left to go to the airport. When she was in the plane she immediately texted Ali. 

Ashlyn's text

- '' Hey Al, I need to tell you and Crystal something! All of my plans that I made for this weekend are off. The surfing weekend in Costa Rica with HAO I told you guys about right, remember? Well it is off because I'm coming to you! Jill called me yesterday, I'm in the team because of Hope's accident. Sure I feel bad for Hope but maybe this is my second chance after what happend two years ago. Greets Ash.                                                                                                                                                                                   P.S. My plane is landing at 7:50 pm , It would be amazing when you can come pick me up ;)

Ashlyn went to spotify and put a relaxing playlist on. She still had to fly two hours. Then after fifteen minutes she fell asleep. When she woke up she saw that she had to fly for half an hour more. By the time that she was asleep Ali texted her back. 

-' Helleuw Ash, Wow you're kidding right?! I'm so glad for you! I go ask Jill if you can be my roomie since it's a long time ago when you were with the team. And I know that you are a very cosy and cool roomie from the NWSL. Well I'm not gonna tell Crystal because were are not on speaking terms. We got a disagreement but I'll tell you all about it in the car. I'll wait for you by the arrival hall. Ashlyn's POV

Wow I did not know that from Ali and Crystal. Well I like Ali for what she is doing for me. But it's difficult.. Nobody knows that I'm gay only Megan ans Nikki, they are my besties for life! I'm afraid to tell Ali she might let me down. And I don't want that because I can get along with here very well, we're always together when we are with The Washington Spirit. And she sometimes comes home with me to watch a movie and have a little girl talk. I like that about her, about us. It's like we're meant to be together.

Nobody's POV

Ali came at the airport 30 minutes to early. She did that on purpose so she can buy a little welcome present for Ash. She saw just the store for Ash. It was a store with all kinds of stuffed animals. And in the corner of the store there was a gigantic shark. Everybody knows that Ash loves sharks. It was 3 feet tall. Ali knew that Ashlyn was going to love it. She bought the thing immediately. Than she saw on her phone that she had a missed call from Ash. She called back as soon as she could lay down that gigantic shark somewhere save.

*Phone call

Ali: ' Heyy Ash I saw you called. Is there something going on? '

Ash: ' Heyy Ali noo , there is nothing wrong I just wanted to let you know that I'm with both feet on the ground and om my way to the arrival hall. See you in 15 minute. '

Ali: ' Okey see you in a bit! Bye-bye '

Ash: ' Bye Ali' 

Ali rushed to the arrival hall knowing that it still was a 20 minute walk. It was not smart of her to buy the shark right away because now she had to run with the shark to the arrival hall. By the time she got there she saw Ash looking around to she her. Quick she hold the shark in front of her. She walked over Ash and give her the shark first and than hugged her. Ash was amazed by the shark. 

Ashlyn: 'Hey Al you know this isn't gonna fit above my place in the locker room right?'

Ali: 'Yeah Ash I know, I had to buy it for you. It's my welcome back on the team present. Come with me than we'll drive to the hotel the whole team is waiting for you!'

Ashlyn:' Can I drive? After a flight I always find it kind of relaxing' 

Ali:'Sure you don't even have to ask' 

Ali's POV

Well  I didn't know that it would feel that good to see Ash again. She didn't expect to feel so.. So good. So trustworthy. It's definitely the best feeling there is!
