Russia waited patiently to drive his daughter to school. America was helping her make sure she had everything for her first day of preschool. "Here she is dear," his husband said, carrying their little ray of sunshine. "There's my princess," He said, his thick accent ringing through the house. The little girl and her father walked to the car, waving goodbye to America. "And remember" America started. "NO BOYS!" She giggled at that, thinking it was funny how her parents didn't want her to fall in love. She was only little, it's not like it was going to happen any time soon. "Goodbye dear, have a nice day at work," Ame said, pecking Russia on the cheek. "I'll see you this evening" Russia concluded, finally getting in the car. "Bye-bye, Mommy!" She giggled. "Bye!" He replied back, walking into the house.
It had been years since 'the incident' as it was called. Everyone knew about it, well except for the kids of course.  Britain didn't find out until he had gotten released from prison. He was surprisingly nice after that, getting his aunt to stop the lies she had started to spread, helping him with stopping self-harm, supporting his relationship, etc. Russia didn't trust him at first, but he eventually came around. His mother wouldn't stop apologizing for what happened, Canada felt bad as well. But all that didn't matter now, because America and Russia were happy. Russia worked and America didn't. He told his husband many times it would be better for both of them to work, but Russia said it would be ok, and he didn't want America to be around anyone or anything that could trigger nad thoughts again. America knew Russia was just being his overprotective self so he decided to grant his wish and just stay home. USSR and the rest of Russia's family totally supported them, especially after what had happened all those years ago. Everybody in Ame's family cut ties with France's sister, after all, it was her fault he attempted suicide. The doctors told him over and over again that he should be dead and there should be no way he's alive right now, yet here he was. Russia was the first to visit him, along with Canada and his mother. In all honesty, he was glad his attempt at suicide wasn't successful because now he had a wonderful husband and a beautiful daughter. He still had scars, some from his father and some from himself, but he wasn't ashamed of them. Why you may ask? Because they told a great story, one with sadness, anger, and love. They reminded him of how he was able to get help and overcome the urge to try to end it again. Britain didn't exactly like seeing his son's scars, it reminded him of what a terrible father he had been, though he supposed he deserved to feel terrible, anybody who had hurt their child that badly should. America forgave him, as did everyone else. Well, except USSR. He beat the shit of him, Ame had to admit, it was kind of pleasant to watch.
America happily sighed, glad that all of what happened in the past was finally over, and that now there more no more SECRETS.
