JOE P.O.V.: I stared at Demi as she washed the dishes and a smile appeared across my face.

Demi: what's so interesting?

Joe: I can't believe we're doing this

Demi: umm...tomorrow...I'll go to the first appointment about the pregnancy and (she shrugged) I just thought that maybe you'd want to know about it and-

Joe: I'll go with you, if that's okay

Demi: yea, course (she smiled looking at me and I walked to her to hugher from behind) what's that for?

Joe: let's go to bed then, we have to get up early to go to the appointment

Demi: yes...let's go (we walked upstairs in silence and before entering her roon I hugged her again)

Joe: have a good night, I'll be next door in case you need me...love you Dems

Demi: love you too (I smiled smelling her hair and she let go off my embrace) I'll see you tomorrow

Joe: see ya

It wasn't too much later for me when someone opened the curtains of the room.

Joe: what the-

Demi: it's time to get up sleepy head (I smiled hearing her voice near me)

Joe: how many time do I have to get ready?

Demi: we're fine, you can take a shower and we'll have breakfast downstairs before leaving

Joe: okay...thank you

Demi: you're welcome (I opened my eyes just to see her leaving the room and couldn't help but sigh at how beautiful she is)

An hour and a breakfast later we were already on the room with the doctor.

Demi: hello

Doctor: hi, my name is Jena Stevenson...nice to meet you guys

Demi: nice to meet you

Joe: yup

Doctor: now tell me...what brings you here?

Demi: I'm pregnant

Doctor: and he-

Joe: yes, I'm the proud father (they laughed)

Doctor: that's very nice...is this your first baby?

Demi: yea

Doctor: okay...come with me...we'll see your baby (Demi laid on the stretcher and I stood up next to her both facing a screen) now, this will be a little cold (she put something on Demi's belly and she shivered)

Joe: you okay?

Demi: yep, it's just really cold

Doctor: let me see (the doctor started to look for the baby and then she smiled) there it is (she pointed to a specific ppint on the screen) do you see it?

Jemi: yea (she pressed some buttons and we started listening to a heartbeat)

Demi: i-is that...

Doctor: yes, that's the baby's heartbeat

Joe: oh my God (Demi smiled at me)

Doctor: okay...everything is okay guys. The baby looks healthy but you'll have to come every month now

Demi: I know

Doctor: this is yours (she handled us two pictures of the ultrasound and I smiled with teary eyes)

Jemi: thank you

We left the room and never spoke to each other again until we were on Demi's house again.

Demi: wanna come lay with me? I could use some company

Joe: sure freckles (she chuckled and we walked to her room)

I watched her lay in bed and pat the place beside her.

Demi: come here

Once I laid next to her, I laughed.

Demi: what?

Joe: I can't believe this all is real

Demi: lord...me neither
