Chapter 8

The next day Snow had come back home with Sam, Charlie came out and hugged her having found out about the Cullen's leaving.

She had started feeling better when she got a text from her new phone, it was from Rose telling her that the rest of the family made it to Alaska. Sigh Snow nods knowing she can do it, she can stay strong for her family and then meet up with them at the end of the school.

After calming down she had put on uncle Harry's fish fry to cheer her up, that's when she noticed her dad getting worried.

"Dad what's up?"

"Bella should've been home by now."

Dawn turned into night both Charlie and Snow had eaten by then and noticed Bella was still missing, her father started up a search party at the house only because Bella's truck was still in the drive way.

"Sam and I can go look for her, she's probably being over dramatic and has never had a boyfriend dump her before." She shrugs already taking off her leather jacket and jogging into the woods.

Getting undressed and pulling the clothes a by a tree she shifts sniffing out her older sister, before stopping and seeing Sam in human form they both start tracking her until they come across her in laying in the mud curled in a ball.

Sam nods picking up Bella, Snow runs ahead and shifts back getting dressed she walks out of the woods with Sam.

"Dad! We found her!"

Her uncle, the Blacks and along with half the police station looked like they had started setting up. Snow rolls her golden eyes now knowing where Bella got her over dramatics from.

Turning she felt the lightest of tugs at her heart, Snow looks over at Jacob and sighs.

She smiles at him but he was more or less looking at Sam, he knew they were waiting for him and it uneased Jacob.

"Hey Jake, how are you? Hi Billy." She waves as Charlie takes Bella from Sam thanking the hulking man, seeing as the conversation wasn't going any where she turns to Sam and hugs him.

The man nods at the older men of the tribe and jogs back into the woods.

Days weeks passed, even a whole year and Bella became this zombie. She just stopped when Edward left, Snow would occasionally shake her head wishing she could act like that but she had a duty to her people and to Forks now that the Cullens were gone.

What didn't help was the red head Victoria was back, and she wasn't just hunting Bella no she was hunting Snow. Why she had no idea and she wasn't taking this threat lightly, she wanted to text Rose tell her what was happening but she didn't want to upset the already worried blond.

"Dad this is getting insane! She needs an intervention. Seriously I can't sleep without waking to her screaming. Neither can you!" Snow finally breaks down "If this doesn't stop I may have to be a third wheel and move in with Sam and Emily." She folds her arms.

Charlie looks up at her before looking down at his coffee cup, then nods.

"Yeah your right, I've called Renee and she's coming to get Bella. Their going to admit her into a psychiatric ward." He goes on to tell her.

In Snow's mind she was dancing this was the best news she had heard of, finally some justice.

"Well sense she will be coming, I'll stay at uncle Harry's until she's gone."

Charlie nods "Yeah alright, think that's the best solution."

Packing Snowing climbs down that stairs only to find Bella standing in front of her.

"Whoa there." Snow eyes her before trying to go around "Crazy." She mutters.

Bella grabs Snow's arm "Where are you going?" the younger sister raised an eyebrow "Don't leave me here! Where are you going?!"

"Let go of me are you nutz?! Bella let me go now!" She growls her body shaking.

Thundering footsteps come up behind them, their father grabbing Bella as she starts screaming like a crazy person. Shaking her head Snow runs out the door and jumps on her bike before rushing away she see's Bella running after her.

Hanging out with the pack it was like having a family again, Embry now apart of the pack they all decided to go on an initiation cliff diving before their bomb fire.

It was great to have something small something normal, she looks to around to see Jacob watching them by his Rabbit. She gave him a wave before she turns and runs normal human speed and jumps off the cliff, the rush and free fall making her smile she plummets to the ocean below.

Coming up for air she starts swimming to the beach giggling she waves back up at the pack.

Two days later, Bella somehow was able to convince her mother that she was staying after spending time with Jacob. HER Jacob HER sun!

It pissed her off to the point that Snow stayed away, she mostly stayed with her uncle Harry now more then ever. Yeah it up set her father but sense he was mostly watching Bella, she decided that is was best she stayed away.

Yawning she slowly walks up Sam's yard only to hear a growl and russet fur comes barreling at her, growling she knew it was a new pack member that didn't know she was one of them.

Shifting she bits into the other wolf's shoulder "You best watch yourself pup!" She yells out.

"Snow? Snow Swan?" The panicked voice got even worse "Is it really you."

She rolls her golden eyes "If you let me go dumbass then you would have known that earlier."

His jaw let her waist go as she lets go of his shoulder, Sam comes running out of the trees with the rest of the pack.

"Emily can you get Snow some clothes?" Sam Hollers as both wolves stand.

Looking up gold eyes met chocolate brown, a rush of air left the both of them as they stood and stared at the other. It was Jacob her Jacob, the tether now strong like a metal cord that couldn't break her heart soring to life.

"Jake." She mutters slowly walking up to him.

Jacob looks between her and the rest of the pack "I don't understand what just happened?"

"We can faze and go inside and talk ok?" she assured him, she didn't want to scare him away not from her.

Turning she runs into the woods after grabbing clothes from Emily, she knew this was going to be the hardest thing to ever happen and she hopped beyond hope that he doesn't reject her.
