Good and Bad is All Made Up Nonsense

Time for some angst :-)

Okay okay okay

But what if Remus (like Spinal from the Steven Universe movie) has a fear of abandonment and is actually really clingy to Deceit cause he's the first person to come and give him attention ever since Remus and Roman split.

I like to imagine that Deceit and Remus have a Heather Chandler and Heather Duke/Regina George and Gretchen Wieners kind of relationship where Remus just does whatever Deceit asks him to do. But Deceit doesn't do anything like how Heather C. yells "Shut up Heather" at Heather D. when Remus steps out of line. He just gives him this look that isn't meant to be bad but since Remus has a fear of abandonment he associates that look as a bad thing and immediately apologizes and shuts up. To him that small look makes him think "Oh no, I stepped out of line. Now he's mad. He's gonna abandon you and you'll have no one."

The look doesn't actually mean that, he just thinks it does cause of the whole fear of getting left in the dust again.
