So since I'm shipping Dukexiety now I thought of this.

Remus and Roman competing for Virgil's love. They do things for him that make him smile or laugh. Each time one succeeds, the other gets jealous and tries harder.

Roman won't admit it but he feels like Remus actually got a huge head start since he's known Virgil longer.
