We all arrived at Ben's house in a few minutes. He was a few strides ahead of the rest of us, rummaging around in his room and shutting his closet door before we came in. Richie laughed.

"Cool?" Ben asked.

"No no, nothing cool," Richie mused. "Well this is cool! Wait, no it's not..."

"Don't listen to Trashmouth, Ben." I said in a stage-whisper. "Richie's just jealous."

"No I'm not-"

"Hey Ben, what's this?" Eddie asked, pointing to a contract that was pinned to the wall.

"Oh that? That's the charter for Derry Township. You see, Derry started as a beaver trapping camp-"

"Still is, am I right boys?" Richie smirked and held his hand up. I smacked the back of his head. "What?!" He whined. I laughed.

"Anyways," Ben laughed along. "Everyone signed it, and the next day, everyone was gone."

"Everyone?" Stan asked.

"Everyone." Ben nodded. "The only clue was a trail of bloody clothes leading to the Wellhouse."

"Where was the Wellhouse?" Bill asked.

"I don't know, somewhere in Derry, I guess." Ben shrugged. "Why?"

"Oh nothing. Just wondering." Bill exclaimed

The next day, Bev called all of us over to her house. Said it was important but didn't say what it was. Me and Richie lived pretty close to each other, so we rode down together.

"Hey Rich, What do you think is wrong with Bev?" I asked as we neared Beverly's apartment. "She sounded really worried."

"I don't know, Cora, but it sounded bad." Richie tried to do a wheelie on his bike, but ended up lifting the whole bike up and jumping over a pot hole. I cracked up, failing to pay attention to the two people walking in front of me. I dodged them, which made me and Richie laugh harder.

We made it to Bev's house in no time, still laughing our asses off. The rest of the losers stared at us in confusion. We quickly stopped laughing when we saw Bev.

"I have something to show you guys." Bev started slowly.

"More than what we saw at the Quarry?" Richie smirked. I rolled my eyes.

"Shut up! Just shut up, Richie!!" Eddie cringed.

"My dad will kill me if he found out that I had boys in the apartment." Bev muttered.

"Richie, you stay out here." Stan finalized.

"Wha?! Whoa whoa whoa whoa!" Richie called. "What if her dad comes back?!"

"Do what you always do: Start Talking!!" Stan retorted. We all started to climb the fire escape.

"Jeez, Stanley!" I smiled at Richie. "Sorry Rich, it's only for a bit."

"Don't take too long!" Richie smiled that stupid devil-may-care smirk. I turned around so he couldn't see the blush spreading across my cheeks.

We walked inside through Bev's window. She lead us to the bathroom.

"Bathrooms carry 89% of bacteria and fungi. And bathrooms are-" Eddie rambled.
