Aidan made his way down an alley, trailing behind two guys nearly his age. "C'mon fellas, I thought we were just having a little fun?" He was dressed in his Jokester getup, carrying a spiked bat. He was making no attempt to speed up his walk, seeming confident in his ability to catch up to the frightened pair.

Suddenly, a pink and purple bola swung out onto the ground and one of the men tripped as it caught him by the ankles. A familiar figure emerged from the shadows and gripped him by the neck, pulling him off his knees. She held him out to Aidan as if it was a peace offering. "Why don't you pick on someone your own size?" "Mary." He smiled. "Come to our senses now, did we?" She scoffed, letting go of her grip on the strangers collar. The two men scrambled off into the darkness. "So, What ever can I do for you, Darlin'?" Aidan flirted, sauntering up towards the girl and tracing a finger along her jaw. She pulled away, smudging her face with blood that had been residing on his fingertip. "I need a sidekick." She emphasized that he would be her Harley, as he had put it so eloquently before. He attempted to argue but she had already turned for him to follow.

After some hastily planning and a muddied temporary makeup job on Mary, the two sat at the side of the building. Fortune One Bank, it was called. While her task had been to rob a bank, she figured that the details of which bank it had to be didn't matter much. This small establishment would be the perfect place to test the waters without the likeliness of any big time coverage. Mary eyed the door absentmindedly, almost as if asking herself if this was truly what she wanted to do.

"I brought you something for courage." Aidan smirked, pulling her out of her daze. He held another syringe, though this one smaller than the one he had forcefully injected her with. Jumping, Mary slid away from him before cursing. "Keep that shit away from me." Her words bit the air harshly. "It's not as strong as before. Plus, your system has already been introduced to it now. It will give you the euphoria, without the fear." He insisted. While part of Mary felt an odd amount of trust for what he was saying, she shook her head once more. It wasn't worth it. "Your loss, I guess." He mumbled, followed by something that she couldn't quite understand and then shot the liquid into his own vein. Gasping, an uncontrollable grin formed onto his face as he cackled.

After his fit had subsided, Aidan nodded to Mary before stepping into the door without any more of a peep between the two of them. Once inside, he stood guard at the door, mentioning that he was leaving the actual work to Mary. She held onto her pistol with a shaky hand as she struggled to take a deep breath. Her accomplice then slid a hand onto her waist and pulled her close enough to whisper in her ear. "You've got this." His words were breathy as he giggled, nipping at her ear with his teeth. "Here, for luck." Before Mary could look to him, he stuck a needle right into her neck. As the liquid entered her bloodstream, she felt woozy. Stumbling, she cursed and fell to her knees.

"Ma'am, are you alright? A woman asked as she approached, placing a hand on Mary's shoulder. That's when the laughter started. She tossed her head back, revealing the porcelain paint with streaks of blood red tears. "Oh my-" Was all the woman managed to get out before Mary gritted her teeth and pointed her gun towards her. "I think you know what's going to happen here." She stood, ushering the woman back as she approached the desk that already had her attention. Inside her own body, It felt as though she were a passenger on a ride, unsure of where it was going to lead. "How about we make this easy, shall we?" Her voice held a childlike joy, reminiscent of her mother's. The man behind the desk made no attempt to argue as he haphazardly handed over all the money he could.

"I know they have more." Aidan shouted as he watched from the entrance. "Don't be an idiot, old man. She's crazy." The words send Mary into a fit of laughter for some reason, though her internal monologue was tortured. It felt as if someone else was controlling her body. She knew what she was doing was wrong but it felt so good. Hopping onto the counter and sitting on her knees, she looked down at the man before aiming the gun closer to him. "I- I gave you all I have access to. I promise!" Mary saw into his eyes, he was telling the truth. She felt there was no sense in pushing this further, they had gotten more than enough. Though, still, her trigger finger ached. Aidan's maniacal encouragement only furthered the want.

The louder the noises got in the room, the more fuzzy Mary's mind became. She felt as though she could hear everyone's thoughts and there was no ounce of her that remained calm. "ENOUGH." She finally shouted, aiming the gun and shooting at Aidan as his voice had been the loudest. Luckily for him, she missed and shattered the glass door behind him. As the silence enveloped her, it was quickly replaced with the sound of sirens approaching. Eyeing her accomplice, Mary hopped off the counter and followed him through the broken doorframe.
