Megan and Monty was always first at the usual lunch table. They were inseparable. They were so close. They would always be laughing and joking and Megan didn't understand why Monty had such a bad reputation since he was so sweet and kind towards her. Which was true since Monty was always cold and bitter towards girls unless he wanted to get in bed with her but after that he would go back to being cold and bitter. What made her different?
The rest of the group came to the table and they would always 'ship' them together. They both thought it was funny in a way since they were always together.
That night Megan, Jess, Hannah and Sheri we're having a girls night. They were talking about boys. One topic became the top discussion of that night. Megan and Monty. 'So do you like him?' Sheri asked the dark haired girl. 'Who?' Replied Megan. 'MONTY' all three say in sync. ' he's so cute and I .. oh never mind' Megan mumbled. 'Are you okay?' Hannah asked with both Sheri and Jess looking concerned for Megan. 'Yeah I'm fine I just don't trust boys or men.' Megan sighed. 'You don't have to tell us if you don't want to' Sheri said. 'No, no I do want to tell you. So my father passed when I was only 6 and I was so mad at him for leaving me and my mom.' The other three girls looked at Megan with pity. 'Also I've been in a relationship where I was cheated on and constantly lied to. He treated me like dirt.' The girls eyes started to water 'I don't trust boys, but they can gain it. It'll just take a while that's all.' The girls say in silence for a minute taking in the information. Hannah pulled Megan in for a hug and the other two joined. This was bond that'll never break. For the rest of the night they was talking about their own past and relationships. They grew closer and closer together and their bond was unbreakable.
