Dawson's pov
Jon is a very nice boy, but no one besides his parents, brother and myself would know that. You see, Jon is mute. He can't talk and never does. While some people think it's a choice, I don't think so. I truly think he's struggling and needs help. As a baby, he'd only give small smiles and slight whines to his parents and younger brother Joey, but never anything more. Even though he didn't speak, he was still quite expressive and I truly love being friends with him. I wouldn't have it any other way.
