Oh wait I can also say ameriska-something ska; I ought to brush up on it. Although when I was looking over it, I was only able to read and write a bit so I know speaking would be horrible. I dread it. That's why I don't like speaking French. They made fun of me when I was little. I no longer like that country.
I don't want to be closed off, and I want to have an open mind. Same with South America; I don't fancy going there but I'd still like to visit Brazil some time.
The reason I want to visit Denmark is because of my favorite book called Number the Stars. I first read it when I was 11 in an accelerated reader program. I read that book so many times; it has to do with the WW2. Denmark is an small country and during that time they had an prince, and though they didn't agree with Hitler, there was no way they would survive an war, so they didn't fight.
What they did though, is they built an resistance. (My cheeks are getting cozy thinking about it. It makes me excited to speak about this book) This resistance helped saved thousands of Jews by transporting them to Sweden, an neutral country.
I became obsessed with all things Jewish and the Holocaust. I read as much as I could about the Jews and the Holocaust. The book also made me realized my sexuality. I really wanted the main character Annemarie to end up with Ellen, the Jew. They were both 12 at the time. I remember talking to an friend, saying I thought they were going to kiss at an time in the book. Of course there is no lesbianism in the book. I just got finished ordering some books from Amazon that I'm excited to read =) Nonetheless, Denmark is the location of my favorite book written by Lois Lowry. She also wrote The Giver which is an triology. But I only read the first book.I saw Kiss Me and I didn't know it was an Swedish movie lol and I watched it in Swedish; there were no subtitles. =/ It was okay...I never understood movies about girls who leave their men for an one time fling. How can one fall in love with someone so fast? =/ Makes no sense to me.No, you're very pretty in your picture; it's those cats. They look like divas. You know how cats are though-that's how they are. They're big and fat and cute-I'm writing a lot.
I'll say this. I'm glad you're enjoying your weekend and doing nothing. Was it you love about Sweden, have you been to the US? Would you like to; we are an awesome country =p I'm not voting for anyone this year.
Have you seen the Danish movie that has that famous strap on scene? I forgot what its called but an woman is fucking her while the other is staring blankly in the TV screen. I wondered why they were doing that, and the woman fucking her-just stopped. I didn't know if she cummed or not. I don't know
Also that's awesome you love theatre. So do I!! And more than movies too. I've seen and worked on numerous plays but I don't want to take up your time. And don't worry; I can totally have more than one Swedish friend and I can totally hang out with each of you =)
