Emmy's POV

'This is where we part. I'll meet you two tomorrow on the other side of the barrier, as usual. Remember find a field close, but not too close by and, please, bring food.' I thought to Beauty. He nodded. He pushed right up to Ginger and they went through the barrier. Both of us can do that, but it's painful. I wanted to close the barrier, but I had to charge on the energy of this lantern we kept in our hideout. It's from the underworld. That thing can harness the most powerful people that ever died to light even the most dark night. We could use it to take down the barrier. We stole it for fun. We never figured out what it would do, but I got a glimpse if it was used exactly right, but it would require full power from both of us. "Come on Scaredy-Cat." I said. It's just a playful nickname I called him.

"Who are you calling Scaredy-Cat?" He asked. He hates it when I called him that. He chased me up the stairs. We laughed all the way up. He met me half way and hugged me. We eskimo kissed.

Emmy's POV

"Ammy! Ursula!" I called.

"Emmy! Little sister! Oh Gods!" Ammy said. She hugged me. She let go of me as soon as she noticed Leo. "Hi! You must be Leo." He nodded.

"Please to meet you. I've heard a lot about you. All very good and very fun things."

"Same here." He said. I told him all the pranks we played on the castle staff when we were just starting to walk.

"What are you two doing here?" She asked. She was happy to see me. There was a long silence. "Emmy, tell me that you two didn't-"

"Runaway." I fished for her. She nodded. "If I told you that I didn't I'd be lying."

"Oh no, Emmy! Mom and Dad are probably worried sick looking for you! Sending out search parties for you!" She said.

"I seriously doubt that. I've done this many MANY times before, and it takes Dad a least a year to find me, usually. Besides they're so busy, they probably haven't even noticed I'm gone yet. Unless one of my so-called friends snitched on us." I could tell she didn't like to hear any of what I said, but she understood.

"You and Leo can stay with us for as long as you need, but only if you promise to do exactly as I say." She said. We looked at each other and nodded, indicating we had promised. "Good."

"Grab some spray cans and help me paint the walls."

'I love graffiti!' I thought. I eagerly walked over. We sprayed the paint all over the walls. It felt really good. I was free! Free to be me. And I loved it!

Ben's POV

"Jay. Keys. Remote." I said. We were all in our old VK gear that we wore to get Mal, but lengthened to fit.

"Wait." Evie said. She fitted with my hat to make sure it covered my hair. "Perfect." She said.

"Lets go." Mal said. I knew exactly what she was thinking:

She is probably scared and alone. I don't want to come home to my little girl just to lose her again. And I can't live with the fact she was just beyond our reach and we didn't even try to get her. I couldn't lose her like that. Not again.

"We aren't about let that happen, Mal. I promise!" I said. She smiled and nodded. We were made for each other. Of course I know her.

"Let's start with the Isle. She would probably want to see her sister on the Isle before starting Operation Runaways. I mean, if she was leaving permen—" Ruby said. We looked at her. Evie covered her mouth before she could fish her thought. She told us the plan was to wait on the Isle to charge up enough to let the kids out, but keep the villains in. The girls magic comes form the Isle, which means she can use it to charge herself.
