As the sun peeks from over the hill, I know that a brand new day has greeted me with open arms.

The sun rays caress my face with such care, and it makes me feel like I could fly. Everything is blurry and bright, my vision is filled with baby blues and lemon yellows.

I'm leaving some things behind me, I've decided to keep them in yesterday's hands. I adore the night sky but sometimes it can grow a bit too dark. And sometimes the moon feels too daunting for me to handle.

So when my favorite golden star comes around every morning, I feel a little better. The memories of midnight still linger, but I don't mind at all. For there are miracles that lie under the moon's ominous light, too.

So if you shudder alone in the night, just know morning will be forever and always.
