"You're disgraceful." Han sneered to Changbin. They were sitting at their designated table, surrounded by muggles. "I made you, bitch." Changbin snapped, flashing his dark red eyes before hiding them completely as a teacher walked by.
"You guys really aren't trying to hide our identity, are you?" Minho picked at his food that he would never eat and pulled his hoodie up farther, to cover up his pointed ears. "Shut up, you jolly old bi-"
"HAN! Stop being so fucking loud. Thank you." Hyunjin silenced the table as he finally sat down. Even his presence scared some away, whether he wanted it to or not. Hyunjin scanned the cafeteria to see those weird group of kids again. "I never understood what they found so fascinating between each other." Hyunjin sparked. he didn't really mean to say that out loud, but as long as he didn't raise some suspicion about... something else.
"Who? Those group of nerds?" Changbin looked past Hyunjin as if he wasn't trying to hide the fact that they were talking to them at all. Han slapped Changbin's shoulder to get him back to sitting properly, and rolled his eyes.
"I used to hang out with them, that blonde one got me worried about him sometimes." Minho snorted and chuckled to himself.
Silence.
"What?"
"Minho," Hyunjin started, already making Minho feel embarrassed. "There are two blondies. We need more clarification."
"The Australian."
"More."
"The slim and kind of short one, Hyunjin. Stop making me feel like an idiot guys." Minho's face turned red as he looked down at the table. Han softly shook his head and chuckled. "Why did he make you worried?"
"It was weird. Now that I met Hyunjin he sometimes acted like he was a vampire, but then he made it seem like he's the complete opposite of Jisung, which makes me think he's an angel, and he's so fucking impulsive as if he was a-" Minho paused and glanced at Hyunjin. "-a werewolf."
"Real funny, Minho." Hyunjin spoke in a low tone - definitely not finding it in any way amusing. He picked up his apple juice carton and cringed while he used a fork to open it instead of just blatantly using his teeth.
"I'm so serious; Felix is something else, man."
---
"Oi, Felix, liking Junior year yet?" Chan ran up to his lower class-men and patted him on the back as he sat down for lunch. Felix just sighed and looked over to the 'cool kids' table, the table he would never sit at.
Don't get him wrong - he did like hanging out with Seungmin and Chan; but it was Chan's reputation in elementary with some of those cool kids that worried him about his own. No, he has never met them, but it seems like they've known each other for years.
"I guess not. You okay?" Chan answered for himself, seeing the look on the boys face. "hm? Oh yeah, I'm fine, just thinking."
"About?" Chan asked, as Seungmin sat with his tray and also started peering around the cafeteria.
Suddenly, Felix froze.
"Nobody wants this child!"
"He cannot be around anybody"
They have been arguing about me for a while now - I don't know what's wrong. I don't want my parents to argue, but why does nobody want me?"If he can't control his self he won't just be a problem to those muggles but to people like us as well"
"let's kill it!"
"No its our fucking son!" Dad slammed his hands on the table which shook the entire room. I looked down at my shackles knowing I couldn't move or say anything about the argument.
"Look at him! He's almost gone completely mad."
that's not true.
"If you really don't want him then I will take him into my own hands. Leaving him out on a front porch will do nothing but ruin the next generation." Dad looked at me with sorry eyes but Momma was not liking the compromise.
"Absolutely not. Come here sweetheart."
Did she expect me not to understand what she was saying? Or at that time - I really didn't. I can't remember the last time I saw my parents. But,
Why did nobody want me?
"Fe-"
"Uh nothing much, I'll be right back." Felix stiffly responded, taking the nearest exit to the bathroom.
---
Felix was crying. He never really knew why because as soon as he remembered, he forgot. The worst part is, is that Felix was the last person to cry. He never did, let alone at school. He was sitting on the floor in stall 1, door locked and his knees up to his chest. But, it suddenly became awkward instead of a calming place for Felix, as soon as somebody slowly, but swiftly walked in.
The figure paused for a moment while hearing the whimpers, deciding to make a fuss about it or leave the simple being alone to cry. It stepped back to see which stall the person was in.
Interesting, similar shoes he saw before.
"Are you okay?" Hyunjin whispered,"You seem quite- overwhelmed." He stood in front of the door, leaning in for an answer but kept talking when he knew he wouldn't get any.
"You're Felix, right?" Hyunjin fiddled with his fingers. A soft hum. "The new kid? That's nice. You probably don't know who I am so I won't tell you - but I hope you're okay. I don't mean to barge in."
Felix sniffed and was heard getting up from the floor he was on. Hyunjin hoped that Felix would stay in the room and the conversation would end there, but he also hoped that Felix would step out, and look at him for only a few moments.
The door clicked open to a pale boy with puffy eyes, red cheeks and blond hair. "It's okay." He sighed, hanging his head down low as if the vampire in front of him didn't already know what he looked like.
"I know it's a rather weird question, but do you mind if I see your eyes got a moment?"
Oh, what did Felix have to lose? He glanced up for a bit and realized that it was one of the kids - quite handsome - who sat at the table he was envious of. Now, he felt even more embarrassed.
"Well," Hyunjin stifled. "I've got to get going now." He hurriedly rushed out the room and closed the door behind him. Did Felix scare him? What was so wrong?
"Wait!" Felix said too late."Why'd he come into the bathroom if he wasn't going to use it?"
---
"Minho." Hyunjin sat back at their table and checked his watch frantically. "Hmm?" Minho's head was down, and he never planned to pick it up until class starts once again."You're right. Felix is not normal." Hyunjin breathed. Jisung looked up from his phone and gave a confused look. "What?"
"I followed Felix to the bathroom because I was nosy. I looked him in the eyes and it flashed a weird shade of brown - like a mix of Supernatural colors."
"Or maybe his eyes are just light brown." Changbin shrugged. Jisung hummed in agreement.
"No, his regular eyes are close to black. It had to be a mix-"
"Hyunjin, calm down. There's nothing wrong." Jisung confirmed, and got up with his tray. Changbin and Minho followed.
"Are you serious?" Hyunjin muttered.
He watched as the blonde boy finally came back to the cafeteria, eyes still red. He took up his tray and threw it out, sparing only a rude glance to his friends sitting at his own table.
"I'm never wrong." Hyunjin sneered.
He never was. He never will be.
