"Okay, Hyunjin, what's the actual reason of you being here right now?" Felix interrupted Hyunjin packing our stacks off food onto his counter to get down to the nitty-gritty. The last thing he would want Hyunjin and him to do was get close; there was something about him that just seemed too off to be trustworthy. He couldn't tell if it was just because he wasn't fully human, or whatever Chan said got to him.
"What? I just wanted to hang out." Hyunjin responded, handing Felix a spring roll. Felix took it gracefully and walked past Hyunjin to get to the living room. He picked up the remote and clicked onto Netflix. "You don't seem like the type of person to 'hang out', Hwang."
"I like it when you call me Hwang." Hyunjin averted the topic of the conversation a he took his food and the remote to scroll through horror movie titles. "Great, so I won't call you it again. Also, I hate horror movies." Hyunjin scoffed and clicked on 'insidious'. "Suck to be you then, huh."
"Hyunjin, I'm serious. I really have nightmares."
"You're going to sleep just fine, Felix. Calm down." Hyunjin rolled his eyes as he motioned for Felix to click of the lights as he took his food and take a seat next to him. "Every jumpscare, I'm slapping you."
"Kinky."
---
Felix fell asleep halfway into the movie. What he didn't know though, is that he fell straight asleep into Hyunjin's lap, kind of drooling. What Hyunjin didn't know was that Felix hasn't really had a good sleep for a while due to him and Chan falling a part and being forced to figure what, or who exactly was he. Or that he gets very bad flashbacks.
Especially when watching scary movies.
"This fucking child. Almost burnt this orphanage down!" A lady in a nun outfit complained to the owner of the facility about my wrongdoings. It's not my fault that they gave me macaroni and cheese, knowing I'm lactose intolerant. "What's the boy's name?" The owner walked up to me and lifted my chin up, checking if I had gotten hurt or any scars.
I'm completely fine.
"This child is no more than 6 years old." The lady commented before the nun responded.
"Well, His birth certificate says Yongbok. So, I'd assume he's either Asian or Japanese. But, everyone around calls him Felix."
"Well, I hope you know, Sister Katherine, Japanese is Asian. Shame - you should've known that." The female dropped my face and stepped back to cross her arms. "I don't give a heck! The main point is that he is hazardous and must go to a new orphanage because I shall not keep him here." The nun snapped.
"You aren't the owner of this establishment, are you?" The lady came back down to hold my hand. "You are very beautiful, sweet heart. My name is Madame Yeri, and I would like to keep you here. But, if you cause any more trouble, I will have to send you somewhere else. Do you understand, Felix?"
I nodded.
"You aren't serious about letting him stay are you? My god, the power of christ compels you."
Madame Yeri stood up and went to the door way. "Yes I am completely serious. I suggest you walk out with me."
"Why?"
"You're fired."
--10 hours later, night time--
"Greetings, fellow sisters." Those were the first words I heard when I finally became conscious. I was tied up, and out into the crowd, all I could see was people who looked exactly like Sister Katherine. "I'm sure that you all heard the news, that one of out sisters will not be attending any of your future meetings due to the sudden...unemployment."
