*1 week later*

"What did you want me here for" I asked walking into my brother Carter's apartment.

"I need help"

"With..."

"It's about Jenna" Jenna is his girlfriend. She's really nice. They've been dateing for a few years now. They started dating senior year broke up for a month then got back together. There made for each other.

"Is everything okay"

"Everything is perfect"

"Then what do you need my help with"

"You know how I've been contemplating proposing for a while now"

"Are you finally gonna do it"

"Yes"

"Oh my god that's awesome but are you 100% sure your ready I mean you've been together a while but you're both still young.

"We're both ready and I know it"

"Alright. What am I helping with then"

"I need help picking out the rings. And you two somehow have the same size hands so I need you to figure out what size I need to get"

"Alright let's go"

"Wait I don't know what shop to go to"

"Lucky for you I do" he grabbed his keys off the table and threw them to me.

"Then you're driving" he said as I caught them.

"Let's go" he pulled his shoes on before we walked outside to his car. Jenna's car isn't here so she must be working.

"Hayden good to see ya" the owner of the shop said. I know seems like I know an awful lot of people for living in such a big city. Well the owner of this place is Sarah's parents. That's the reason I know them.

"Good to see you to" I said to her dad.

"What can I help you two with"

"My brother need engagement rings for him and his girlfriend"

"Anything specific your looking for" he asked carter.

"Nope"

"Alright candance here can help ya out" he said motioning to the girl standing a few feet away.

"Thanks" carter smiled. He seems so excited but kinda nervous.

"No problem. Good luck" he went over to a new customer who walked in. Candance stood in his place.

"What can I help ya with" she asked. Carter told her what he needed. She led us over to the other side of the shop to a huge case full of rings.

"Pick out any ones you like" we both looked through the case.

"What do you think she'd like" he asked.

"We'll go with something simple. She's doesn't like extravagant" he nooded. After looking for another minute he pointed at a simple band. She got it out and handed it to him.

"That's to simple" I said. She put it back and we kept looking.

After another 5 minutes he had a few picked out.

"See what this one looks like" he said handing me a ring. I slid it on my finger and It was the perfect size.

"I like this one I think she really will to"
