Missing you

Chapter 7

"We never hang out anymore" Sarah said sitting next to me on the couch.

"No we don't we should do something" Niall's working today so I've got no one to hang out with. And she's right we haven't hung out just the two if us no guys in a while. Either one of us is busy or we have someone else with us. I miss my best friend to be honest.

"Then what should we do" she asked.

"Shopping?"

"You hate shopping"

"Yeah but I need some new stuff and I gotta do it at some point. Oh and Eva's birthday is in 3 days and I still don't have a present for her"

"Oh yeah I forgot about that. We'll find her something then"

"Sweet give me 20 to change" I stood up and threw the blanket back on the couch.

"Give me 30"

"Always need more time don't you"

"You know it"

An hour later we found ourselves walking around the shopping center. We went into a few stores but nothing caught our eye.

"What does Eva want" she asked.

"I dunno"

"She's your sister how do you not know"

"She doesn't have a phone to call and talk to me like bec and carter and everyone else does"

"You can call her one the house phone" yeah my parents are those parents. Ya know the ones who still use house phones.

"Either mum or dad always answers and there not the ideal people I want to talk to"

"You've gotta work everything out with them hays there your parents" hays is my nickname. Long story short, she wanted a nickname for me but hayd or hay didn't sound right. A she casually added and s to hay and was like yep I'm calling you hays from now on. She doesn't say it often though so I don't really care.

"My mom kept me from hearing an apology from Niall for 4 years, and my dad and a control freak that won't let me do a single thing without a hundred questions and a ton of other crap I don't need in my life"

"But there your parents"

"Sarah I know you've got a great relationship with your parents but I don't and I'm not gonna change it because it only be harder with them in my life. I'm better off without them all the time" she sighed.

"Alright whatever it's your life"

"Thank you"

"So Eva, uh what does she like" I listed a ton of things I know she likes but none of it was something cool I could get her as a present.

"What about concert tickets. Who does she like" that gave me an amazing idea.

"One direction. She loves one direction"

"She does?"

"Yeah I need to talk to Niall"

"What are you planning"

"I'm gonna try and get her tickets"

"You really like giving the best present don't you"

"Hell ya"

"Oh I need to stop by my parents store I think they have a card for her"

"Okay" we walked down to the jewelry store I took carter to.
