"Bloody fists""They turned yellow" Nolan said, making a weird hand gesture in front of me. "Do you understand how freaky that was" He asked hysterically. I nodded, humming a 'yes'.
"What are we going to do about it?" I asked, holding my books closer to my chest. Nolan smirked. "The lacrosse team is guarding the exits, they're going to make Liam show the whole world what he is" I chuckled. "Well, how are they going to do that?" I asked, stopping at my locker. "We'll beat it out of him. We have already gotten cameras ready for it" He said in a low tone when he saw that some people had stopped nearby, trying to eavesdrop on our conversation.I smirked smugly. "I'll like that, when?" I asked, feeling the urge to expose that son of a bitch. "After his class ends, in about twenty minutes" He said smugly.
I nodded. "I'll be there"~•~
I was scanning the halls aimlessly for the face of Liam. I knew that he knew that they where at the exits so he was probably going to try to get away. I spotted Mason. He was stalking through the halls with his hands behind his back, making sure no one came even close to him. I furrowed my eyebrows. "That's them" Nolan whispered in my ear. I nodded, smirking.
We walked up to Mason. "Hey... Nolan" Mason said nervously. Before I could react, Nolan grabbed a hand full of flour out of his pocket, throwing it over Masons head. He took a step back as two figures appeared behind him. Liam and Corey where standing there covered in flour. I smirked at the two boys in the hallway.
Gabe came up behind Liam and pushed him towards the stairs. I winced as his head hit the ground hard. "I think he's hurt" I said mockingly as Gabe walked up to Liam's body, pulling him off of the ground. Liam did not make an attempt to fight back. I guess that they turn when their angry or something so I guess that I know why he didn't try to fight.
Gabe threw him into an empty classroom making Liam hit a table. His body was visually shaking and that was a sign that our little attack was paying off. I stood next to the whiteboard watching as the boys beat up the fragile body of Liam. "Open your eyes" Nolan said, gritting his teeth while holding Liam towards the wall. Liam slowly opened his eyes.
They were as blue as the sky. They are the same colour as Nolans. Yet when I look into the eyes of the beast, I can only see darkness. While I look into the eyes of the hunter I can see the light. The savior.
Gabe was standing next to Nolan. The classroom had now flooded with people, some recording and others just watching. Gabe punched Liam square in the jaw making his head fly in the oppsite direction.
When he came upright again, Nolan grabbed his face. "You know you can take us. All you have to do, is change" He told Liam. Liam was grunting in pain and his nose had given in and started bleeding. "The sun" Liam started and I furrowed my eyebrows. "What?" Nolan asked. Inching closer to Liams face. "The sun, The moon, the truth" He mumbled.
"What the hell is that supposed to mean!?" I half yelled into his face. Gabe gave me a small smirk. "Do you want to do the honors?" He asked. I pursed my lips. "Why not" I threw my fist, it collided with Liam's rib, making him fall to the ground. "You have a good throw" Nolan said, grinning. I shrugged. "I guess I do" I said, before turning back to Liam. He was now sitting on the ground, his face was bloody and beaten. He was trying not to shift. It didn't work so well since I could see his eyes glow bright yellow.
In some weird way, the colour was soft and beautiful. I shook the thought off. They're monsters. They want you to believe that they are nice before they strike.
"Why are you fighting it?" Nolan asked, bending down to Liam's level. He earned a low growl from Liam before a teacher walked in through the crowd. "Do something!" I heard Masons voice yell through the mass of people. "Sometimes it's good to let them figure things out on their own" The teacher said, slowly backing away.
I chuckled. "Let's continue"
~•~
We beat Liam until he was laying on the ground, spitting blood out of his mouth. "Is this not enough for you?"
I heard a loud yell and shout coming from the familiar teacher we all dreaded. The coach came rushing in through the classrooms doors. "Everyone, GET OUT!" He yelled loudly to the huge ball of students huddled in the classroom.
"Get to the principals Office! NOW!" He yelled, shoving Nolan, Gabe and meout of the room.Nolan and Gabe started stalking towards the principals office, but I stayed behind for a little while longer. The coach left the room and Mason helped Liam to his feet.''Clark Kent right?'' Liam told Mason and he smiled at Liam. "Clark Kent" he assured and they both chuckled.
I felt a small pang in my chest as they did so. They acted just like everyone else and they had done nothing to me, yet I still hated them. I hated them for something they probably couldn't even help. SNAP OUT OF IT. I cursed myself.
I turned on my heel jogging away to catch up with Gabe and Nolan. I couldn't even think about what I had just gotten myself into.
It's been fun writing this chapter. I've been posting a lot lately because you get more reads if you have more chapters😂
