"I feel fine" I told my brother standing infront of him in my bedroom. "Max, you have a fever, You're not fine"

The only problem was that I actually was fine.
My brother Held the thermometer in his hand examining it. It showed 104 Fahrenheit. I had a fever, but I didn't feel like I did. My brothers Brown eyes stared at me in disbelief. "Where were you last night?" He asked and I lowered my head thinking of the incident. "I was at Rebeckas house, I already told you" I said feeling my heart rate pick up.

His eyes stabbed my features "I can tell that You're lying" He said crossing his arms over his chest. "Ughhh, just get over it" I said walking past him out of my room.

I grabbed my bag and slipped on my shoes. "I'm going to school" I said throwing the door open. Scott yelled my name from inside, but I didn't answer, I sprinted to my black and white bike that was parked outside the house, throwing my leg over the sadle and viking towards the school. My Brown curls blew out of my face as the wind hit my forehead.

The ride was quicker than usual, but I didn't think much of it. Small sweat beads ran down my temple, maybe I did have a fever. My skin was paler than usual, but not in a sickly way.

My hands wear sweaty as I held my books in between my hands. I had tried to avoid Nolan at all costs. I didn't want to meet Liam either, but he didn't seem too be in school. Everything seemed off. I had seen people walking around with bandages on their hands. I wondered were they got them.

"Hey" My head snapped up from my books to meet the smiling face of Rebecka. "You look pale, are you okay?" She asked with a frown.
I shook my head "I'm just tired" Rebecka pouted. "Anyway, What are you doing after school?" I shrugged. "Homework, I guess"
She chuckled. "Homework? That's boring..." I returned her chuckle "What are you doing then?" I asked smiling sheepishly wondering what she had on her mind. "I was going to Sinema, but I guess your busy with your homework"

My face lit up. "I'm coming, I haven't done anything fun in YEARS" My friend bumped my shoulder with hers as we walked towards our class that was down the hall. I chuckled. We had the same classes the entire day, god I lovr wednesdays. Rebecka is a great company and can always cheer me up during math or chemistry AKA the most boring classes.

After school I went to the library as usual. I blinked away the memories from the other night with Corey and Nolan, sitting down at the same table.

Studying for the history test coming up was peaceful. I actually liked History unlike every other class in this boring school. I slammed my book shut, looking up to meet the scared, yet confused and surprised eyes of Nolan. I quickly turned my eyes back to the book I was now holding. My knuckles turned white from the hard grip around the books frame.

I heard his light footsteps slowly walking down the creaky wooden steps of the library stairs.
I forced my eyes to meet his as he reached the table. "H-how?" Was the only thing that came out of his mouth, his lips twitching at the word.
"What?" I asked slightly agitated. He had left me. Even though no damage was done to my body somehow, he left me for dead and clearly he actually thought that I was.

"Y-you. H-how are. You w-were dead" he said, his eyes softening and relief washing over his facial features. I wondered if he was relieved that I was alive or that he had managed to finish his sentence.

"Well, Do I look dead?" I asked him, throwing my hands up in the air. He shook his head franticly.

"I just woke up and everyone were gone, oh and you should congratulate your little friend. He might have started a forest fire" I said, gathering my stuff off the table. Nolan choked on the words he was going to say and quickly turned and walked away. I shrugged. "I'm fine, thanks for asking" I murmured under my breath as I exited the library.

My face faced the floor when I made my way to the schools exit. When I reached the doors two of the lacrosse teams members stood there. Their huge muscular body's making it impossible for me to get out of there. I cleared my throat. "Excuse me" I said lowly and nervously. These guys could literally kill me so I didn't want to be rude to them in any way.
I'm only 165 centimetres tall so I'm like an ant in comparison.

I felt a hand grab my arm from behind. I yelped as my body was pulled backwards. "Well hi there" Gabe's mocking voice said from above me. I looked up in disgust to see Gabe standing over me smiling. Nolan was next to him. He looked nervous, not that he didn't always. "What's this about?" I asked pointing with my thumb to Gabes hand wrapped around my arm tightly.

"Oh it's nothing you should have to worry about" He said signaling for Nolan to come closer. Nolan pulled a knife out from his pocket and before I could react he brought it to my hand. The skin on my palm broke and blood poured out. I gasped, pain flooding my entire hand. Have smiled slightly as the skin that was just broken immediately healed only leaving a patch of bloody skin. I looked up at the two boys in shock and Nolan took a step back.

What am I...?
