The hotel was under siege. There were parking cars everywhere, limousines, elegantly dressed guests, hotel staff circling around. Tay was surprised that he had been allowed in without showing an invitation. To tell the truth, he never had an invitation to Matthew Parker's parties. Apparently, Mattew took into account Tay's presence and warned the staff. He felt strange entering a room full of people. The small party was not small at all. He was not surprised by this fact. "Evy will be furious" he thought as he approached the bartender. Holding a glass of drink, he felt more confident waiting for friend. He stood so as to be able to see everyone entering. Camera lights flashed again and again, the noise of conversations almost drowned out the musicians who tried to make the guests pass the time. Evy showed up on time. Taylor tried hard not to open mouth in amazement. The hand with the drink shook dangerously, revealing his reaction. He set the glass on the tray of the waiter who was passing by and started toward his friend. The dark blue dress glistened against the black outfits in which most guests paraded. It was easy to find her in the crowd. She felt people's eyes on her and forcibly refrained from adjusting the slightly short dress. Were it not for the promise made to a friend for any treasures of the world, she would not have put this togs. In addition, she had 10 cm heels, which were like stilts.

Tay has never seen her in a dress. He realized that for so many years he hadn't realized that Evy was a woman - until now. He was shocked, she looked embarrassed by the prying eyes of outsiders, but she kept straight as a taut string.

- Jesus, you look like a woman," he joked when he was close enough to her.

- Thank you. Now I'm sure of it, 'she said sarcastically, blushing,' I see you are wearing a suit, 'she said.

- See how I trust you? I felt you would keep your word. What would you like to drink?

- Red wine

- I'll bring you in a moment ... - Tay was about to move toward the bar when his gaze stopped at something behind her.

- That's great! - He waved his hand in resignation - You told me to put on a suit and this one could come in jeans and an unbuttoned shirt?

- - What?? - Not understanding, Evy turned and froze for a moment. Edward was standing in the doorway, dressed in a black shirt, unbuttoned under his neck and rolled up sleeves and in black jeans, posing patiently for photos. Hundreds of flashing lights illuminated him like a lantern.

Even from a great distance, he looked slightly embarrassed by the noise around him. Behind him were several people, of whom Evy only recognized Dylan. She had no idea what they were doing in this place, but since they appeared she had to avoid them. If it was another coincidence, she had had enough of them. She felt it was the malicious smile of God who was making fun of her.

- I feel like an idiot - Tay murmured - Did you know he would be here?

- I had no idea - She admitted, turning to face her friend - I'm coming with you for this wine - pulled him by the jacket sleeve toward the bar. She didn't want to be alone for any treasures. She had to escape, disappear, blend in with the crowd - unfortunately, was aware that the color of the dress effectively prevented it.

Dylan looked around curiously at the gathered people. He noticed a couple standing in the distance. The girl seemed strangely familiar to him.

- Don't we know her? – He asked Eddie - Girl in a blue dress.

Edward looked around curiously. He froze for a moment, not believing his eyes. It was Evy. She was wearing a matching dark blue knee-length dress, high heels, and a small purse in her hand. Heavy locks of dark hair fell on bare shoulders. She was talking to a guy in a gray suit. He felt an unpleasant tightness in stomach. This seemingly ordinary girl had to have something to do with the media, otherwise she wouldn't be in this room. Who was she?
