I awoke to the sound of my Mom humming a song in the hallway, again she was probably waiting for me to awake.
"Mom! Stop with the singing!"i yelled flipping the pillow over my face, trying to disguise the annoying humming.
"Sorry! Are you up then?"she said as I yelled back yes, as she burst into my room swinging my door open till it hit the back of the wall, behind it as the pillow covering my head was thrown of as I just glared at her shocked by her outburst.
"So how was it? I came home and you were sleeping? Your brother told me your friend was over? So how was school? Amazing? Did you meet some new friends?!"she squealed like an awkward teenager.
"I met about four new friends?"i mumbled, as I just realised I only met three, Clarity, Brad and Charlie. I counted Rider as one, god. He was hardly my friend, he hardly spoke to me.
"What's there names?!"she eeked, grabbing my arm, taking her hand in mine, plopping herself down on my bed.
"Okay first, ow."i said releasing her grip as she flashed me an apologetic look, as I nodded and carried on.
"A girl named Clarity, that's who was over last night, then Brad he's like a popular guy, then Charlie, she's in my art class."i said, avoiding Rider, the fourth person.
"Who's the fourth?"she asked, I knew she would, my Mom's not stupid.
"Oh, I didn't mean to say four. It's just three for now."i mumbled.
"Sure then."she whispered, then walked out, reaching the doorway.
"Oh and Mom?"i said, stopping her.
"Yeah?"she said, turning around looking at me.
"I've been invited to a party this weekend with my friends, can I go?"i begged.
"Sure, be careful though, you know what drunken teens are like."she murmured then walked out as I got ready for school, it was Wednesday.
I brushed my teeth and washed my face, adding in some dry shampoo for my hair, since I washed it yesterday.
I put on my acid wash jeans, off the shoulders tartan top and my leather jacket, putting on my black low converse. I then added some make up, mascara, winged eyeliner and some red lipstick.
"I'm ready Mom."i yelled.
"Sorry hun, your brothers dropping you off, I have some paperwork for a patient that past away yesterday, I need to find the cause. Niall! Your sisters ready!"My Mom yelled to me, then to my brother who probably wasn't even up.
"I'm coming!"he yelled back, jogging downstairs, in his daily attire.
Consisting of black jeans, a white tshirt and his black Hollister hoody.
"Your looking good sis."he said making eye contact with me.
"Don't ever say that again, plus thankyou, I like my new school. Everyone is nicer than the rathole you go to."i smirked.
"Okay then, let's go."he blanked, but smirked as we walked out the doors.
"Sure thing."i said following him to his truck, parked on the curb.
As we drove of I noticed in the house that had someone moving into it yesterday, there was a motorbike parked outside, with a similar shape, tone or even the helmet that was on it, looked exactly the same as, Riders.
Had he moved into my street?
"Do you know who lives in there?"i said to my brother as we drove down the street as he looked into his interior drivers mirror, and gazed back to the house.
"Oh, you don't need to know about him."he said then looked ahead.
"Niall, Who is it?"i warned.
"It's a guy, but he's like? He's not normal, he is like a total douche and he just doesn't treat people nicely. He is someone you don't want to talk to, so don't ever. Alright? Do you understand?"he stuttered.
"Yes, yeah, I understand. What's his name though?"i said, curiously.
"No one knows his name, but people call him Rider."my brother said not breaking gaze with the road in front.
"Oh."i whispered.
How could Rider have moved into my street? Across from my house? This wasn't happening was it?
