Cyrus's POV :
After what I heard from Buffy, I sat there speechless.
"But I don't want to get in between you and TJ, Cyrus" Buffy said while looking at me.
"Thanks for that. I appreciate it." I just said but after her saying she liked TJ. I don't know.
"Wait. Cyrus you like TJ?" Andi asked me and I just told her to be quiet.
We laughed and said goodnight to each other and went back to our tents. I looked at TJ and he was sleeping. I smiled and layed beside him.
Morning came and when I woke up I was left alone by myself, until I smelled the smell of barbeque, which by the way, made me feel very hungry. I went outside and saw everyone awake and I smiled at them.
"Morning princess!" TJ teased and I just rolled my eyes and Buffy was giggling, guess she moved on from last night.
"Morning guys, so what's up?" I asked them.
"Well, since we will be leaving tomorrow morning, TJ has something to tell you...
tonight" Buffy said, then she looked at TJ and giggled again. I didn't mind what she just said because, you know.
"Okay, food's ready!" TJ shouted, we all took a plate and took one piece of meat and ate. It was delicious, like seriously.
"So what's the special thing you have to say to me?" I asked TJ because he sat next to me.
"Well, you have to wait til tonight." He answered teasingly and he went back into eating. That was a disappointing, I thought I would get an answer.
We went for a walk in the nearby trail with adult supervision, we reached the top of the mountain, and it was more beautiful than what I saw before, the walk almost took an hour and a half to get to the top, and when I say that it was gorgeous, believe me it was. And so was TJ. I mean uh- the sunset was.
The sun was setting after us just sitting there and talking and its was mesmerizing and he's smile is too- no Cyrus, you can't, but the sunset was beautiful, and after seeing the sunset we went back to the campsite. When we came back we thanked the adult and she just went back to her office.
Its almost nighttime and I'm still wondering what he wants to tell me, Buffy then whispered something in TJ's ears, and I pretended not to know, and kept on doing what I was doing, adding fire wood to out campfire.
TJ was walking closer and closer to me and my heart was beating faster and faster each second, I was very nervous.
"Hey, uh, can we talk?" he said then smiled cutely "privately?" he continued
"Sure!" He offered his hand and I held it and stood up and followed him from behind still holding his hand, its so soft.
He took me to just a few feet from the campsite, where no one could see us, the moon was out and was shining. I could see his face, his features, and his cute face but this just doesn't feel right.
I mean what if Buffy gets mad at me if something happens?
"Hey," he said and I didn't notice I was overthinking "Uh, I just want to say that thank you for being such a great friend and for always you know being beside me, and being my bestest of friends, I know that we just kinda met but I want to uh know if you..."
Oh no, what is happening?
Why is everything going so slow?
Why is my vision getting blurry but not TJ's face?
Why is my heart beating so fast?
"...want to uh be my..."
I can't, I-
no no no no no no no
"... boyfriend?"
I stared at him and I was still nervous and sweaty but wait-
"Be his boyfriend?" someone from far asked in confusion, we both looked at the direction of the campsite and saw Jonah.
"Jonah?" I asked and he was standing there furiously. I was scared that things might go down. But I haven't answered TJ's question yet.
"Were you listening all this time?"

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been updating so much and it's been bugging me too, but please listen or read, school has been really rough because our Christmas break is coming really fast and we only have three weeks left to finish our lessons and that's why I haven't been able to update and my phone has been confiscated by mother dear(for 2 months and I just got it today) because of my low grades so yeah, I cant update my story but now I will, so pleaseeeee be patient ❤️❤️
