Samara is out and on her way home to Augora Hills. She takes the closest way to California which is one of the big interstate highways. Of course, her driving isn't  too good considering she's been locked away in an asylum for two and a half years. By walking, it would've taken her a long time just to make it out to the highway, but now that she has a car, she can make it to California within an hour or so.

At home with Samara's family, barely anything has been mentioned about her since she's been gone for over two years. Finally, when the family is sitting on the couch watching America's Funniest Home Videos, Presley breaks the silence.

"Mom?" she said.

"What?" said her mom calmly while paying attention to the TV.

"Do you think my sister will ever come home?" She asked curiously waiting to hear her mother's response.

"I don't know, she's been gone for two years so I imagine they'll just keep her there with her condition being the way it is" said her mom.

Presley looks down at the floor with a disappointed look and then quickly lifts her head back up at the TV.

"I miss her" she said while still focusing on the TV show.

"I know, I miss her too" said her mom.

Within an hour, Samara makes it to the California state boarder and she crosses it. She is inching her way closer to her hometown of Augora Hills. When another thirty minutes passes by, she's already there in her hometown. As she's looking around at all of the buildings and streets, suddenly all of the memories start to flood her mind. She remembers all of the times her and Presley went outside and walked to the gas station to get candy or whatever they wanted. She remembers times when she and her older brother Ryan would wrestle and play fight with each other all of the time at home. Now, Ryan is twenty-seven and he's married and is moved away from home with his wife Addison. She remembers funny moments she shared with Victoria, the only person who was the closest to her and that she considered to be like an older sister to her. Even the memories of her ex boyfriend Trent, the one she had the most feelings for than any other guy she's ever met, come back to haunt her.

(Flashback)

They stood face to face with each other in front of the school alone with nobody around.

"Samara, I need to talk to you" said Trent putting both hands in his pockets.

        "Yeah?" Samara asked curiously.

Trent sighed deeply, "I can't do this anymore"

Samara's face turned from curious to disappointed in a matter of seconds.

"I don't think this is gonna work out for us, maybe we should just be friends" said Trent.

Samara just looked down at the ground, hesitating at first to say anything.

Trent stood there just staring at her before she finally nodded her head a little and said "yeah, maybe we should just stay friends".

Reality tries to set back in when another memory of Trent shows up inside of Samara's mind.

(Flashback again)

It was two weeks after her and Trent broke up. Samara walked outside after school with her friends Liam and Amber. They kept talking about things they were gonna do that weekend and while being the third wheel, Samara just kept quiet. She walked all the way over to the bus stop when she saw it happen. Trent was holding hands and kissing her other good friend Shianne. She just stopped in her tracks and watched it all happen in front of her.

"You okay?" Amber asked as she turned around with her boyfriend Liam to notice Samara just standing there.

Samara kept her eyes locked on Trent and Shianne for a second.

"Yeah" she said before turning the other way with them to stand and wait for the bus.

Samara clinches her hands tightly on the steering wheel and starts to speed up as the anger arises within her from the memories of Trent. She forgets that she's on one of the bigger streets of Augora Hills and she accidently bumps into the back of another car.

"Hey watch where you're going" A man yelled from the driver's window of the car in front of her.

She slows down as she starts to calm down and try to brush off all of the anger and the memories of her past. Somehow she remembers the way to get to her house where her family still lives at. She cruises along her old street that she used to live on until she finds the two story yellow house that she used to call home. She parks the car out in front and sits in the car for a moment taking in all of the shock that she's feeling of actually being back home again and not locked away in the asylum. She gets out and slowly approaches the door and knocks.

"I'll get it" yelled Presley from the kitchen as she walks out with a snack cake in her hand and goes to the door.

She opens the door and her eyes widen at the shock of seeing her older sister standing there. She doesn't say anything until finally Samara smiles and says, "Well aren't you gonna let me in?".
