Chapter 6

It felt like they had been walking for years before any one said any thing and even then it wasn't really physical noise it was flame that was speaking,
*Vex, the reason the queen could not tell you who you are is because well you are one of us...*
"What do you mean by 'one of us'?"
"She means that you are a royal... Well sort of... You see our mother the queen was having a hard time and to take her mind off it... well... she went mad with one night stands and because of this no-one knows who your father actually is so mother had to give you up for the protection of the rest of us." Replied Spark, "anything else you want to know?"
"Yes, if I'm royal what's my name?" Vex asked feeling more intrigued by the story of her past.
*We don't know, although we can tell you that it's a tradition that a child has five different names until they are 12 moons old then the parents choose one of the names for their child to be called by, so you would still have all five.*
"What are they? I mean the five names." Vex Questioned
"Rosemarie," said Spark
*Opheliae,*
"Sumner-Akten,"
*Indi-yae,*
"And Eriqua was the last, though we all wanted you to be called Akten-Zee"
"So when will I find out my actual name?"
*well Vex, you will be given a naming ceremony where a priest and all of the royal family will come to celebrate your new name.*
And with that no one said any more. As they continued walking down through the maze of corridors Vex started to see more things like doors and windows, though they did not stop until suddenly Flame saw someone.
"Sir" shouted Spark obviously shouting for his sister "Sir Har- Andort, Sir Andort!"
The man swivelled around on his heels and hurried towards them
"Yes Your majesty's"
"Could you find a room for young Vex here, then could you get your..." asked Spark so fast Vex only picked up little snippets of what he was saying. "Healers to... check... dragon... girls... priests... sacrifice... find her... fledgling... teach... joust..."
Every thing after that happened so fast it was unrealistic
*Do you even know why your here?*
"No..." Vex replied "Now I think about it why am I here, shouldn't we be nearer the dragons and stuff."
*No! Your not just going to fly a dragon around and destroy castle and stuff like the legends say jousters do.*
"Pwah!" Laughed Spark "You? A jouster? No, no, no! We have a much better job for some one as nimble and small as you!"
Then all of a sudden they stopped in front of a door that said 'Sir E. Satyarn'
*Here we are the big bosses office! Finally I get to see what it's actually like in there!*
Knock Knock Knock
"Come in" came a deep voice, not too mature but the man inside was certainly not young.
Flame turned the door handle and then the man inside said "Ah Flame, oh and Spark how nice of you to visit."
"Sir, we bought you the new 'recruit'." Stated Spark bluntly with a small amount of worry in his voice.
"Hello Vex, come, sit, ahhh a shy one! Awww I'm not gonna move from this seat. And that sling there has no pellets, I cant harm you."
Vex slowly and cautiously shuffled forward and sat down and smiled shyly toward the man.
"Sir..." she started
"Please call me Ehstar" he cut in,
"Eh..Eh..Ehstar, why am I here?"
