1942. Sept. 1. - Slytherin Girl Dorms

"I'm under the impression that Riddle wants to kill me" said Victoria as she sat with her 'so called' friends.

"And how is that?" asked Rose, while looking at her newly painted red nails.

"I'm a Seer, Rose. I know things and this is one of them. You shouldn't deny what I say."

"And what did you really saw?" joined Mary in the conversation, while she was packing out her stuff with a little swish of her wand.

"What did I saw? I saw Riddle and his bloody red eyes. He was saying something in parseltoung and I can bet on it that he ordered a snake to kill me. But now knowing this, his plan will backfire, like always."

"I don't know how can you outsmart him Vicky. I mean he is TOM RIDDLE. He gets what he wants and beats up who he wants, but when it comes to you... How to put it? Well... Riddle become weak and pathetic."

"It's just natural" waved Victoria. "And if you want to know, I'm more successful because I don't underestimate the power of emotions. Instead I use them to win. I'm the Queen of Slytherin after all. And for the record we all talk with snakes, if you get what I mean" than she laid down to her emerald green bed.

"My Queen..." came an afraid voice from a first year girl, with curly ginger hair, who just stepped into their dorm. "I-I have a message from Professor Slughorn. He-He wants you to patrol with your partner tonight. You have to meet at his office."

"Thank you. I will be there in a minute."

She was standing up from the bed, when the girl fell down on her knees, crying and put her hands together like she was praying.

"My-My family is good ally of your father. Now we-we need help, my parents life is at stake! I'm begging you to tell your father about that!"

Victoria just slowly walked to the girl, than knelt down and took hold of the little girl's chin.

"What's your name?" asked Victoria in a cold tone.

"Flora Drywater, My Queen" answered Flora with hope in her voice.

"Well then I have to say..." and the girl's eyes shined for a moment, because she truly believed, that her family is saved. Oh, how foolish she was! "No. How do you think that you can ask me these things? I don't care about the pathetic life of your poor parents nor does my father. How can be someone so stupid?" In the background Victoria heard them laughing like mad man, while she destroyed this poor unfortunate soul to the ground. "Give up and let your parents die."

The girl run out of the room crying faster than the light.

"Now, I'm going to Slughorn, girls. If someone wants me, tell them that."

"Okey, but one last thing... Is it true what they say about you and Abraxas?"

"It's an another topic for another time. By the way, it's true, but I won't let that happen. If I have to, I will kill Malfoy."

In Front Of Slughorn's Office

The only sound in the empty corridors of Hogwarts was the clicking of Victoria's high heeled boots. As she arrived in front of Slughorns's office she met HIM. His chocolate brown hair was in more elegant position which was perfect to his sharp jawline and cheekbones. This made him more attractive to women, even Victoria had to admit it.

"I have never thought I'll be seeing you again Riddle."

"Otherwise Grindelwald. I thought you'll be very busy planning your wedding with Malfoy."

"Who said I will marry him? He will die before he could even touch me."

"I'm happy that both of my favourite students is here! As you know the two of you are going to be the prefects from the Slytherin in your year. And I have chosen you two to start the patrolling this year. Usually you shouldn't patrol with somebody from your house, but it was brought to my attention that you two are not in the best of terms with each other. I hope this will help you to come around and maybe... you'll be friends in the end" said Slughorn as he stepped out of his office.

"There's no way in hell that me and Riddle are going to be friends!"

"You can go. The patrolling is until one" and with that he was gone again.

"Now, now Riddle... we have to set up the rules, so don't think about running away" laughed Victoria as she saw Riddle trying to sneak away. "First: We are always together. I know that if you are alone there could be terrible things happening, so I rather be with you than blamed because I weren't here when I was needed. Second: We don't let your friends get away with their things, such as being outside after curfew. Third: We try to act like friends, so Slughorn will belive that he fixed our 'relationship' and pairs us up with somebody else."

"Well... Trying doesn't hurt. But don't expect me to get along with the likes of you" admitted Tom as they walked down the corridors.

"Whatever you say Riddle."

"How was your summer little pathetic human being?"

"Now I really see why you only have followers and not friends! By the way, all I have to say is: better than yours."

"Spoilt little kid" spat back Riddle.

"Orphanted, No Feeling Boy."

"You're the worst Grindelwald."

"It's a honor to me to be your worst. And to let you know... it won't work, I mean your snake, so give it up already Riddle. I'm always a step ahead."

"How would you know? Tell me how do you know it!" Shouted Riddle in rage as he suddenly squeezed Victoria against the wall with his eyes glowing red.

"Perks of a Seer, Riddle" smirked Victoria taking some kind of liking in those blood colored eyes.
