Everything went smoothly over the days and slowly, the weeks. Riddle plan was working quite well. Everytime he was nicer to her and asked about her family, she would end up telling him everything about herself. Well... except what he needed, her secrets.
Victoria enjoyed playing along which included that she could talk about herself all day and most importantly; Riddle wasn't annoying. And she loved it. Actually Riddle was a good company most of the times. And aside from that sometimes she finds herself wanting to tell him things she told nobody before. Fortunately her brain is still working well and tells her not to spill her deepest secrets. She knew she can't give in, not to especially to Riddle. It would mean the end of her. And other than that she can't let her mother know about it. She would give her hand into marrige right away which not what Victoria wanted anyway. She was the one who come up with the tournament thing just to win more time. She can't be married at this age, but no matter how hard she tried, this thing made a way into her life.
Her dearest brother, Credence engaged Nagini. Nagini was like the older sister Victoria never got to have. She was the kindest, most loving woman in the world. The only flaw of hers was the curse placed upon her. Sometimes she becomes a snake like she was an animagus. It was definitely scary for the nine-year-old Victoria, but she got over it relatively soon. Regardless her brother loved her. At first they were in different sides as Nagini sticked with Newt Scamander and his little band, but after a time she realized her feelings and came to his brother.
She remembered the scene, which almost makes her everytime wanting to vomit. The kisses and hugs were too intimate for her young self. Of course her parents said if she grows older she will understand this. Well, here she is as a 15 year old girl and still feels like she want to throw up seeing these things.
But this were part of her life, so she tried her best to move on with these things. Like that Gellert Grindelwald just casually tickles her wife until she gives him a kiss. And he calls himself a dark wizard! At home, he's more like the king of tickling and bad puns. Yes, Victoria was surprised when she first saw her father speaking with his followers, the Alliance. It felt like, he was a different person.
So when it comes to her family you could say, hers is quite strange with her 'once was an Obscurus' mother and adoptive brother, her father, whose the darkest wizard and her cursed sister-in-law.

When Victoria's brain processed this information, Riddle was already preparing the ingredients of the potion. It was so stange for her, that he left out his remarks this time and instead just started the potion.
